The Lakers have of had two head coaches that delivered the most of their championships Pat Riley and Phil Jackson. Paul Westhead and Frank Vogel and that tainted covid year. Since Pat and Phil all Lakers coaches have been hand picked yes men willing to do ownership bidding. Until Lakers ownership is willing to hire a coach that won't kiss their asses and can command respect from the players by being able to check their egos, NOTHING WILL CHANGE.

The Lakers need to cut bait with about three players. Yes LeBron still can play but let's be realistic I mean you're not relying your hopes and winning a championship with a 40 year old player? He can't lead a team anymore not every night or on a consistent basis that's illogical and impossible.
