The truly great basketball players are those who make their teammates better players.
Paul George and Kawhi Leanord are great individual talents but not team players and I include LeBron James in this conversation too.
Michael Jordan was great because he helped elevate the game of his teammates and unlike the above mentioned, never forced ownership to acquire stars to help him.
Also, Jordan was proud of his reputation as were other NBA players of his era for being iron man players who played through sickness and minor injuries.
Look at today's so called " superstars " who have, " load management " and so-called injuries where they do not play.
