What a year for Poole, from knocked out to traded.
😂😂😂
He has a chip and got the bag, I think it won't be that bad for him in the long run.
That ego is at an all time low and he’s gonna be trying to prove something next year
Get your facts straight, didn't get knocked out at all 🤷 plus signed a massive contract that guaranteed more money than you will ever see in your life 🤡
He wasn't humbled
Chris Paul is the guide for the bench and young players.
facts, at least someone gets it.
+ they wanna get rid of the amount of poole wasting too much salary
Taking Andre’s role, but without the history with the team. Hope he stays healthy enough to play more than Dre did last year tho.
He’s replacing Iggy
This is the right move for the warriors since Poole isn’t doing any shit
The fact that the Warriors were able to dump Poole and actually get something back for him is a monumental achievement.
You are a fool. CP3 is a vet minimum player. He is washed. GSW is a lottery team.
Shush this trade is shit for the warriors
Still hope Pool plays like his old self at a diffrent situation. There was no way to keep him at Golden State even if they traded Draymond.
@@Monika77fulno defense, dribble with his head down, mamba shot selection?
I’m a fan of Poole, but yeah the truth was the contract was too much to keep with the new rules incoming, where it not for those they probably keep Poole but really the punch was the catalyst for all this Poole would still be on his rookie contract if not for that 😂
I don't think Dubs can afford to start Paul next to Steph. Most likely starting 5 will have Looney and Dray for size with Wiggs and Klay on the wings and Steph at point. Maybe Paul replaces Wiggs or Klay but I doubt it. CP3 makes much more sense off the bench. This will prolong his season so he can be healthy for the playoffs and/or will serve as a good way of bumpig up his potential trade value by showcasing what he can contribute.
Isnt Draymond leaving
@@ficdm825 Draymond is definitely not leaving. This team would immediately become irrelevant without him.
@@ficdm825 He opted out of his contract and the understanding is that they will give him a new contract that ends at the same time as Curry's. Of course, people don't always do what they say, but I'm going on that assumption for now.
Draymond and Looney ain’t giving size they giving muscle and hustle they both smaller for their positions about 6’6 and 6’9 I believe
@@SnuggieMaple Yep... Dray and Loon still represent one of the best defensive frontcourt duos in the league. They just need a back up center, now that the Wiseman experiment is over.

Breaking News…
Draymond Green opts out of his player option to join the Washington Wizards
Dray should go punch him again for good measure 😂
He’ll have to play him eventually. 😂😂😂
He’ll kick him in the nuts when the Warriors and Wizards play
The warriors should get Dwight Howard to sign for a year on a veteran contract, and they need a big
Bro imagine Draymond and Dwight defense 👀
my thoughts exactly....dwight would be solid off the bench like he was for Lakers in 2020 and he wouldn't even cost that much
they'd need to hire a Chinese to English translator in that case
Thats exactly what is in my mind i heard dwight is leaving in taiwan. They maybe keepin an eye of him
Dwight is still washed even in taiwan
CP3 such a boss. Got two players traded just so he could get their number. First, Beal. Then, Poole. Who's next?

Ryan Hollins in 2023 is crazy
If the Warriors can re-sign Draymond and add any type of backup center, they will be a title contender next year. Their starting 5 was the best in the league last year (by far), and now this will be their bench: CP3, Moody, Divincenzo, Kuminga and (? at Center). Moody and Kuminga playing alongside CP3 (instead of Poole) will help a lot.
Having said that... I can also see this as a plan to trade CP3 for a couple quality role players before the deadline. Either way... getting him for Poole was a great deal for the Warriors.
Warriors should trade draymond green, he is too small.
@@trendyromish4789 You should probably be traded for someone who understands basketball. Regardless... Draymond won't be traded. I knew Poole would be traded this off-season, but I said they should have done it last year. If they had, they wouldn't have lost to the Lakers.

I love this trade. Chris Paul is loved by everyone and to bring him on with superstars can make the warriors even better. I hope they don’t trade him, because he deserves a ring so bad.
I agree with you mostly but pretty sure he and Steph had a subtle rivalry and or beef Steph hit a shot on him I think and said couple years ago “this isn’t 2015” idk if they ever resolve it after that

The DLo trade is a great analogy.
To many “experts” are focused on fit when the GSW are all about acquiring assets.
When you have assets, you have options.
That’s how the Beal trade should be analyzed as well.
He has a no trade clause how is he an asset
Chris Paul in a bench leadership role is great. Funny this was 1 of the 3 teams I thought would be great for him.
I was hoping the dubs could get a big man for poole..but yeah cp3 makes sense..makes them better.. mainly its a salary dump..cp can also help solve their bench issues..hopefully unlock jk, moody, and baldwin 🙏
It was Poole or Dray. Unfortunately had to happen at some point especially after the punch, and on paper CP sounds nice but he’s 38 and injury prone.

Charlotte and Portland are going to have active and interesting free agency pursuits !!
Smart move by the Warriors. They are attempting to replicate their 2022 championship roster with the same starters with a very great 2nd unit. If they can pull off a "D-Lo for Wiggins" trade with CP3, then they should pursue an offensive 6th man replacement for Jordan Poole and effective veterans like Bjelica & Porter who excel on both sides of the court. But still, a 2nd unit with CP3, Donte/GP2, Moody, and Kuminga doesn't sound bad.

Jordan Poole is going to be really good in Washington. He's going to have the rock in his hands and a lot of the offence resting on his shoulders. That's where he thrives. Ideally this will up his trade value and the Wiz can get something good for him.
Yep
Poole cant handle the ball , hes a turnover machine, and cant play defense. Warriors were smart to unload him and his contract while they could. Poole made noise for a season on a Championship roster. He'll be a nobody in Washington
@@davidjames5881 I disagree. I expect he's going to be an inefficient 18-20 ppg scorer
@@michaelmcphee2006 is that worth a 140 million ? Smart move Warriors to unload him for anyone really . His stocks low right now, but that contract kicks in next season Washington just picked up . I really feel good with this trade though what they really need is a big man role player which they could really get in the free agency. Watch out dynasty is not over!! Lets go dubs!!!
Damn your the best hoops channel. I thought the same about cp3 leading the 2nd unit but the trade for 2 vets would be great. I thought tossing in Rollins and a 1st was terrible but the open roster spot along with igoudala is a great point. This is why I wait for your view on things before I get too mad or glad
Chris to be the new iggy runs the second unit and sometimes plays important minutes with the starters
I think CP will stay with GSW but be the man to run their second unit. Probably plenty of rest days and no need to come back too quick if he does get injured since GSW has not given a crap about the regular season since they won 73 and blew it. CP's minutes will probably go from 32/game last season to probably about 20-25 this season and if he does happen to get injured you have another coach/player sitting on the bench like Iggy the past couple of seasons. Washington is getting a talented (if a bit flawed) young player so win win trade on paper (if Draymond resigns). It will be a blast watching Paul with Curry, Klay, and Wiggins on the floor.
this guy makes these fast bro
Very Good Takes. The Rollins Trade include, well said. !
A lot of good points in this vid! Especially the fact that the Warriors aren’t washed.
Pooles 87 footer with 43 minutes left on the shot clock sealed his fate...
Masterful as usual
He’d be a great Rondo type 6th man. That IQ and floor generalship could be great.
Warriors need a solid big and they're back in contention
Still too slow and klay has been fading and fading, he played pretty bad even for most of the Celtics finals. If klay was old klay I’d agree
Poole's attitude did not fit the Warriors overall, probably why he got punched in the first place... Warriors rely on their chemistry, and Poole was fucking that up, so I think it's smart to get rid of Poole and his contract, bring in CP3 for a while and maybe let go of even more to gain a real piece to win and build around. Good move from the Warriors and Wizards. Have a feeling Poole is going to get a bad rep in the league for having too much of a chip on his shoulder. Unless he can win a ring without superstars like Steph and Klay, his attitude is gonna cause disruption on any team he's on. Just my opinion.
gotta love Draymont
he has old school mentality!
he will bring wining chemistry wherever he goes
Not a Warriors fan but I hope CP3 will finally win a ring
So so so excited so hyped let’s gooooo
That shot at Kd was amazing 😂
Poole isn’t a playoff player more of regular season. The trade for the Wizards and for JP is W since Wizards won’t be a playoff team for a while

I would agree with your whole doing the whole D-lo for Wiggins thing but with CP3 if this was 2k
Poole got the bag before the punch
I love the unexpected trades of the nba ✌️♥️🏀🔥🔥🔥🔥.
Lmaoo that KD roast
I can't help but to wonder if the Wizards might eventually flip Poole at the deadline for multiple 1st round picks. While Poole isn't worth that much right now, with so few options remaining on a horrible Wizards team, I could see him averaging over 25 PPG and some team (say the Heat) decides they want to add that big piece and overpay for him. That would be great for us as it's an awful time to be a Wizards fan. Hoping this new front office can draft well, because if they don't then we're completely screwed!
The wizards are ass guy good luck with all that
Maybe a fresh start will help poole and make him mature as the top dog. Poole just became too cocky after he got that contract. Young and rich. Now maybe he can learn and be a leader. If your Washington there nothing to lose on this deal.
I don’t know all of the minute details but I’m excited for the new CBA. The current luxury tax only applying, in practice, to smaller-market teams is horrible for the sport
where did u get the ryan rollins stuff from, like I dont see that anywhere
Bienvenido a WARRIORS 🤩
Maybe he can finally get a ring😢
There is a less than zero chance they can beat the Nuggets unless there's a key injury to the team. They match up horribly against Denver (assuming the Nuggets put up the same level of defensive intensity they had against the Lakers and Miami). If he wanted, Joker could average 40 @ 60% against that team. They lack the defense to bother Murray, and if the outside shooting is even close to normal, KCP and Porter would be averaging 15-20 a game. It would be an ugly series.

CP3 is under 6 feet tall and damn near 40. He'd sweep the floors for 30 million dollars. He'll definitely be coming off the bench and will get a good number of starts, and minutes because somebody is always injured in the NBA.
That someone injured is usually him tho lol
This is good for Poole, he’ll get to start for the wizards which is what he wanted
No problem for cp3 he'll get plenty minutes and not have To injure himself hes good til the playoffs and they can make a new death lineup
ok... "plan for get back to losing" bit really cracked me up
They should now try to purse a good veteran backup center and good veterans overall to help with depth
There’s tons of good veteran free agents
Now they really need a big man cause cp is so deadly on a pick n roll situation, and imagine if wiseman still a warrior cp could mentor him.

I expected CP3 to become a bench player on a team with good defensive bigs like Memphis, Golden State, Milwaukee or Cleveland
I think you should do a video on the Suns situation and the fact their alleged shadow GM is Isiah freaking Thomas. As a Knick fan, the fact that that's the case is massively concerning for the Suns' hopes this year, their culture, and their future.
Now it’s time to unload green for a good big man and picks.
Right!
they need a center bad
The jab at KD and his time in Brooklyn made me laugh so hard
Lol you love Ryan Hollins so much. 😂
I know, I said it like 3 times hahaha
Just happy that there won't be minimum contract CP3 for the Lakers
Current system is already skewed towards big market teams as it is, especially in buyout market
Warriors vs Wizards gonna be a brawl fight
lmao every time it be “people don’t understand ___”
This move puts the Warriors at the top and my preseason pick for winning the chip. Paul is underrated. You simply cannot ever have enough shooters, ball handlers, and leadership. You can never say oh we have to many leaders. Warriors understand this, and will be rolling. They could maybe pick up 1 center and they good. Maybe try and get a Steven Adams, valencunous, or nurkic and the got it.
I think the organization realizes the core itself is not getting any younger and curry could be prone to injuries this year or next so cp3 could be the new microwave sixth man. He can start to give Steph some rest and lead the bench. We can play fast and we can play methodical as well. Also, it will free up some money space to acquire a vet big man. If Draymond leaves, that hurts but that can move looney to power forward and that can give us size and height with another price find center. So I'm beginning to see the wisdom of the trade.
They need to trade for a big that protects the rim then you can have Chris Paul come off the bench but can finish games cp3, curry, klay, dray, and actually center could be deadly
You know you can just start cp3 and sub him out in the first timeout, then he can lead the bench unit. He becomes a starter by name, but is effectively a 6th man.
I would just bring him off the bench. They don't need to spare his dignity. He was gonna be waived.
There’s nothing my guy won’t do for the elusive chip
If cp3 comes off the bench I think they will have a chance
i don't think trying to raise CP's value and then flipping for good assets makes sense because jordan poole would have had the same return, possibly more because he's a young player that's developing well and is valued around the league. although he didn't have a good season, he'll bounce back on a new team away from draymond (although that doesn't change his attitude he got after getting the bag) and can develop without the pressure to win on a rebuilding team.
They were going to pay Poole regardless of the punch. Didn't they give the contract before the punch btw?
Is Wiggins next?
Don't think CP3 will ever play for GSW. He is a trade piece and super smart way to dispose of Poole..good move!
I agree and hope this is the case.. i hate the idea of green makin more money annually but im sure bringin him back is top priority but a big man needs to be next
Maybe he can finally get that elusive ring
But like he’s just going to be a second string point guard off their bench .. I mean just for one season
But of course the Draymond green Poole situation still was Rocky
They lacked playmaking when Steph & Dray were off the court last year in the playoffs. They now have someone that can carry the offense when those guys are on the bench. The warriors clearly are making moves to bolster their IQ and get back that chemistry that was lost because of the Poole / dray incident.
I hope cp3 wins a championship some time soon he deserves it kind of disappointing that he couldn’t win a championship in phoenix he deserves one more than ever.
Hey man, for some reason your video doesnt show up between my channels...
Its not unusual for cp3 to come off the bench since he already said in an interview that he's good at any role as long as he plays on a winning team. He's mindset is to capture his first ring even without playing as the best player second or third or even the sixth man. He just want that damn ring and I so hope warriors will be the one to grant that dream.
As a Suns fan play him off the bench. You have Draymond IQ already now they have CP3 IQ off the bench and his playmaking ability. You guys got a very smart veteran who can also score. Use it.
Why would they 'depend' on him. He'll be perfect as a backup or when Steph is resting.
Dante is history with GS
This is actually what i thought after hearing the trade unloading Poole's contract
Upping his value and trading him mid season for bench help would be the best move for the Warriors frfr.
Definitely underrating Tyus Jones. I think Poole and Tyus are about to go off.
Ngl listening to all the different channels rate the value of what going with these trades is so ambiguous in terms of who did good
Dunleavy must have thought CP3 is still CP3 moving forward.
