Unfortunately, finding someone like him took me years (I am actually from Germany, and education is very, very left wing in many regards, you can even question if something like American conservative really exist here) and I somewhat doubt young people today have that time.

Peter Robinson is a great comfort. He has a certain purity of character that emanates from his words. He believes in America the way I do. His discussion of identity politics is so on target. It is wicked. When I'm looking for a book to read, I find myself automatically choosing a biography of one of the Founders. It shows me where we came from and what we believe in. And his discussion of the Cold War as a "bipartisan project". I'm American born but rose from poverty to prosperity due to American opportunity.

I think Trump's greatest strength is his uncouth rhetoric. Western society was getting too soft and snowflaky, he's the perfect kick in the pants to PC culture.

George Taylor Those kids you speak of will not tolerate one second of discussion with anyone that disagrees with their ideology so how do you teach them rational thought? You don’t, you can’t. Screaming tantrums are cured with punishment but now the children are college aged and consumed in their virtue signaling self-righteousness while having no clue of right or wrong, no life experience, no merit based growth, and a bizarre idea that all people should be equally rewarded across the board regardless. Mr. Shapiro, I implore you to move your set for a 1 time special with Dr. Thomas Sowell. Sowell will turn 90 years old in June of 2020, he just recetly released a new edition of his ' Discrimination and Disparities." He no longer travels long distances for interviews. He is, in my opinion, the greatest intellectual produced by the America system. A figure that should be in the pantheon of the greats produced by Western Civilization. Within his life's work you will find the most common sense & realistic answers to most of our modern day major issues.
One of the best Sunday specials ever done! Thank you to both of you for making this happen. I've always seen Peter as the interviewer and never as the interviewee, it was a real treat to be able to hear him go into such detail about his ideas.
I can attest to one of Robinson's last points. I have a friend with an Econ degree from St.Lawrence and I once asked him "Keynes or Hayek?" and he hadn't a clue what I was talking about.

I see what pleasure Ben Shapiro feels when Peter Robinson discusses Trump's achievements, in such a unique and colorful style. Don't look at the sun directly. Look at its shadow on the ground, at its effects. Same with Trump. Little did he or anyone imagine what was just around the corner in the next year. He was thinking five years in the future. Speeches do matter; words mean things. When a speech is backed with clear action it can be very powerful and inspiring. Reagan believed when he said in speeches and actions taken reflected that. Obama, as an example, many times did the opposite - he would speak, give a speech and sometimes a listener would think he meant it, other times lied outright, as several other politicians have also done. Trump is not a great orator, but what is refreshing is he is transparent, blunt, speaks to issues that resonate with common people; he doesn't beat around the bush.
Peter Robinson is *the* single greatest interviewer in America today. The Hoover Institution is a treasure trove of amazing political talk. His talks with David Berlinski were particularly interesting. Ben, get David Berlinski on. PLEASE.
Peter Robinson is brilliant in his own right: he is clearly able to hold his own in conversing with some of the best minds (and discussing topics within their respected disciplines). Not once has he ever brought his personal experience or equate anything to his expertise. A truly smart, smart man who, along with Dr. Sowell, I'm convinced knows basically everything.

Watch Peter Robinson closely, as he conducts his Uncommon Knowledge program. Years from now (many, I hope) he will have passed on. But for all time afterward he will be known as the standard against whom all other interviewers are measured.

So good were they, that Hitchens ended up becoming a fellow at the Hoover Institution as a liberal/socialist.

Trump is not a great orator, but what is refreshing is he is transparent, blunt, speaks to issues that resonate with common people; he doesn't beat around the bush.
Peter Robinson is *the* single greatest interviewer in America today. The Hoover Institution is a treasure trove of amazing political talk. His talks with David Berlinski were particularly interesting. Ben, get David Berlinski on. PLEASE.
Peter Robinson is brilliant in his own right: he is clearly able to hold his own in conversing with some of the best minds (and discussing topics within their respected disciplines). Not once has he ever brought his personal experience or equate anything to his expertise. A truly smart, smart man who, along with Dr. Sowell, I'm convinced knows basically everything.
30:10 THIS!!!! Every time a Republican is in office my blue collar family prospers. EVERY TIME a Democrat is in power my blue collar family struggles. As we near retirement age and watch our adult children struggle to establish themselves, I wish people would see this. Exact same thing in the blue collar families both my husband and I grew up in. This is so real.

I hope this will inspire others to bring Robinson on as a guest. He’s one of the most interesting people on the Right, yet he isn’t particularly well known. I know he’s putting together a book on Reagan and the Cold War, so hopefully he’ll be on the circuit promoting it soon.

Ben's analysis of each generation being less conservative is wrong, Tim Pool just did a video on a recent study of Gen Z and Gen Z is actually slightly more conservative than Millennials.
