@@arthurobrien7424 Guten Tag Mitbürger. I have to agree with you. I show this stuff to my friends but most of them are so brainwashed and already made up their mind so it just washes off of them. I really hope we can get more free markets into Germany. But quite honestly, I am thinking about moving to America after I finished my studies. To me the country has such a rich history and values - just like Peter said here - of openness and possibilities, that speak deeply to me.
What's your background in Germany? What do you study? And have you found ways to guide your friends to the truth..? 😅

Peter Robinson is a great comfort. He has a certain purity of character that emanates from his words. He believes in America the way I do. His discussion of identity politics is so on target. It is wicked. When I'm looking for a book to read, I find myself automatically choosing a biography of one of the Founders. It shows me where we came from and what we believe in. And his discussion of the Cold War as a "bipartisan project". I'm American born but rose from poverty to prosperity due to American opportunity.

Screaming tantrums are cured with punishment but now the children are college aged and consumed in their virtue signaling self-righteousness while having no clue of right or wrong, no life experience, no merit based growth, and a bizarre idea that all people should be equally rewarded across the board regardless. It’s hopeless to think these kids will ever contribute to society, their entire existence revolves around destroying it.

Sowell will turn 90 years old in June of 2020, he just recetly released a new edition of his ' Discrimination and Disparities." He no longer travels long distances for interviews. He is, in my opinion, the greatest intellectual produced by the America system. A figure that should be in the pantheon of the greats produced by Western Civilization. the question is not what is unique about the USA--the answer is self evident. No, the question is this; why do people have to leave their homelands to come to the USA to find any opportunity and to free themselves from the exploitation of their rulers? The second question is equally important. With respect to Mexico, why does the USA tolerate a kleptocracy on our border and which of our so called elites (looking at you, Soros) are benefiting from the situation? Answers those questions, find the correct path. If only the USA was serious enough to stop complaining about what color a person's hair is or if a Halloween costume offends them.

Speeches do matter; words mean things. When a speech is backed with clear action it can be very powerful and inspiring. Reagan believed when he said in speeches and actions taken reflected that. Obama, as an example, many times did the opposite - he would speak, give a speech and sometimes a listener would think he meant it, other times lied outright, as several other politicians have also done. Trump is not a great orator, but what is refreshing is he is transparent, blunt, speaks to issues that resonate with common people; he doesn't beat around the bush.

Was anybody else surprised at just how weird it is to see Peter Robinson being interviewed instead of interviewing? 🤣

Never having heard about Peter Robinson, I really appreciated and enjoyed this interview. Especially learning about Reagan from his perspective as his writer. That was great!

Many thanks for doing this show, Peter and Ben. Yáll are terrific. Especially thanks for reminding me and telling your audience that East Berlin still had not been repaired from combat damage from WWII in 87. It wasn't in 1990 either.

Ben's actually a very good interviewer (as well as a brilliant commentator) but Peter Robinson is the greatest since Buckley. I'm sure DW viewers know already but youngsters, if you don't, should check out Uncommon Knowledge.

I hope this will inspire others to bring Robinson on as a guest. He’s one of the most interesting people on the Right, yet he isn’t particularly well known. I know he’s putting together a book on Reagan and the Cold War, so hopefully he’ll be on the circuit promoting it soon.
    This conversation was excellent!

Ben's analysis of each generation being less conservative is wrong, Tim Pool just did a video on a recent study of Gen Z and Gen Z is actually slightly more conservative than Millennials.

Peter Robinson says don't look at the sun, focus on its effects. Fair enough. Ben Shapiro has, and will continue, to spend 90% of his analysis staring directly at the sun.
