  • Starting off in Enshrouded when you look in the skill tree page you will see 12 types of Skill Tree Specialists, it can leave you wondering, "Where do we put the points? What skill tree is more beneficial? When is it ok to change my skill points?"
All of those questions are overwhelming to most of us. So today let us help you decide what build is right for you.
*Starting with your choice of solo or party play through; On a Solo play through, you have a wide range of choices and a large range of play styles to test out.
Keep in mind some enemies are harder than others, a good defense is always a great start.
High damage can be nice only if you can survive. So hold off on your damage focus until your late game. A good wand and shield goes a long way.
On a Team Play through, (depending on the size of your team) healing is a must have for every member of your team. Healing doesn't have to be your main focus, but in a pinch it will help.
*Next is your Armor; There are 3 types of specialty armors in Enshrouded. Your Tank, your Mage and your Ranged.
With your Tank armor; as we all know tanks are high in defense. --Most of your early game armor can be crafted through your blacksmith. Your end game armor is called the "Radiant Paladin Set".
With your Mage armor; as well know helps increase your mana level. --Most of your early game armor can be crafted through the Alchemist. Your end game armor is called the "Elder Set".
With your Ranged armor; this armor can help with ranged attacks and a higher stamina level. --Most of your early game armor is crafted through the hunter. Your end game armor is called the "Eagle-Eye Set".
*Now when it comes to your choice in weapons, this is where the fun begins. --The large selection of the types of weapons with the many types of damage can make someones head spin.
So let's start with the basics. You have Wands, Staffs, Bows, One-Handed and Two-Handed.
With wands you have three types of damages "Fire, Lightning and Ice". Wands are very useful for short ranged attacks. --Wands do not require mana or stamina to use them, but they will loose durability as you use them. It's a great weapon to use with a shield.
With a staff you also have three types of damage as the wand, but you also have healing. A staff is ment for long ranged high magical damage and healing.-- With the staff you will consume your mana to use it. It is a Two-Handed weapon so you can't have shield when it is in use, but because it is a ranged weapon it can be place on your hot key.
With a bow you mostly do physical damage, but there are a few bows when enhanced can do some magical damage. Bow are primarily high ranged high critical chance weapon. You will consume your stamina when firing a bow. Arrow can be crafted through the hunter or found throughout the game.
With a One-Handed weapon you'll do three types of physical damage "piercing, blunt and cutting". Some One-Handed weapons can come with magical damage after it is enhanced. A One-Handed weapon is mostly used for speed and crowed control.
With a Two-Handed weapon you'll also do three types of physical damage "piercing, blunt and cutting". Some Two-Handed weapons can come with magical damage after it is enhanced, but unlike the One-Handed weapon the Two-Handed is high damage and much slower.
*Last but not least the skill tree; as I had said at the beginning there are 12 types of skill specialties to choose from, and this is where most of us get really overwhelmed. Don't worry this may help you simply your choices with your skill points. Let's start by looking at every specialist.
    1. Assassin
    2. Ranger
    3. Beastmaster
    4. Survivor
    5. Athlete
    6. Barbarian
    7. Warrior
    8. Tank
    9. Battlemage
    10. Healer
    11. Wizard
    12. Trickster
*To summarize; What ever build you choose as a playable build, remember it's your choice. What you feel comfortable with is the right build for you. Enjoy your experience with Enshrouded and play until there is no secret left to unturned. This game is made for those who want to enjoy the experience. Play on my friend, the Enshrouded world is ready to be explored.

The durability on wands is horrific. I will destroy two wands just trying to get to my next quest location, destroy one doing my quest, and another two on the way back. Daggers are just as bad. Now that they added durability to bows, those sucks too. They just aren't as bad as wands or daggers. They really need to get their shit together when it comes to durability, especially at lower levels when new players don't have a lot of materials. You shouldn't have to create a backpack full of the same weapon just to run 5 minutes away from your starter base. That's why people cheese the system. The system sucks.

I definitely agree that the balance of the game is very off. but it is early release and I'm hoping it will be fixed.
