    Man I was hoping you put another 6mm wire on that bend... you had me on the edge of my seat even with the raf.. your trees always look super healthy 💪🍻

      Cheers mate, the single 6mm will hold and the raffia was doing its job, i could hear some cracking as i went haha.

    Thanks for the info, as a Kiwi its always helpful having advice from a similar part of the world climate wise. (apart from the Aussie bonsai bloke, he lives on the moon :) )

      Closer then you think! I was pruning and he came out of nowhere at me, stood up to give me a warning. I moved him to another bigger Cascade. I like to keep them for pest control just need to remember they are there 🤣🤣

    I am new at this art, about 2 years, i a have an itoigawa juniper at about 2 years and it has the tips of the foliage getting brown, why that happens?

    Another really helpful Video Josh. Can I ask how you tied off and secured the raffia after you had wrapped it around the branch please?

      once you reach the end you split the raffia in half, take one side down the left of the branch and the other down the right and tie off underneath like the first knot on a shoelace, then you can do the same thing again but this time going up and tying off at the top side of the branch.
