I must disappoint You. They hated this song and were angry, that it was released in US on the single as a b-side of A Question Of Time. It is all in "Depeche Mode: Stripped" book. For me it's a niece piece of their work 😊.

Love this song so much!!! I hadn’t heard it in awhile, and as soon as I played it, it was like a switch went on and I felt so much better!!!! All the great memories and feelings of being young, living in Southern California in the 80’s, dancing at cool clubs and having so much fun!!! I can’t get enough of it and played it over and over. Amazing synth pop, hypnotizing, mesmerizing ❤️

What is the the film? Was just watching it with my dad and he said “that’s from a movie but I forget”. This was his favorite song that he would play super loud in the Jeep. My sister and I hated how he played this so often but later found it to be our favorites also.

24 when this came out. I started with Catching Up With Depeche Mode, and went backwards while moving on to Music For The Masses and Violator. This song could have been from an earlier album; it sounds so fresh.
I actually tried watching Modern Girls. The song plays in the beginning and at the very end. That's all you need to know about it. lol
