- Delicate steamed buns filled with jam and cocoa.
Sourdough:
500 g semi-coarse flour
200 g plain flour
30 g of fresh yeast
350 ml lukewarm milk
80 g of butter
80 g granulated sugar
2 spoons of beer
2 teaspoons of salt
1 egg
Filling:
Apricot or strawberry jam.
Sprinkle:
4 spoons of cocoa, 4 spoons of powdered sugar.
Approach:
Preparation of sourdough - mix yeast with 1 teaspoon of sugar, milk and flour.
Leave to soak for 10-15 minutes.
Heat the milk with the butter.
Mix sugar and 1 egg.
Add 2 tablespoons of beer.
Mix flour and salt.
Add flour and lukewarm milk to the yeast.
Knead the dough for 10 minutes.
Leave to rise for 50 minutes.
Gently roll out the dough to approx. 1 cm.
Cut the dough into squares and fill with jam.
Connect the ends and leave to rise for about 15 minutes.
Lightly grease the steamer with oil and arrange the buns.
Steam the buns for 8 minutes.
Before removing the bun, prick it with a toothpick.
