- With so much stuff going on behind the scenes right now with moving to a new house and planning to get the new workshop assembled, I needed a little bit of a break from the constant on the go stress. Luckily the new Element RC Enduro24 Sendero RTR Crawler showed up on my doorstep just as I needed a break. I saw the fun ready to run little truck and figured it was a great way to head to the park for some trail time and fresh air. I grabbed the camera quickly, shot some details and then I set off for the trail. Come along as I take the Enduro 24 out for some crawling fun and I’ll give you all the details you need to know about it along the way!

Got mine just over a week ago and I've been super impressed with it. The only tweaks that I've done is it take the front body mounts and put them on the rear and take the provided spares and set them at 7 at the front. It gives it a lifted look and stops any body fouling issues.
Just ordered one I’m waiting for it to come tomorrow. I know I’m a few years behind but I literally just got into the hobby about 35 days ago and I went on a rampage. I’ll upload some videos on all the cars I bought what I like what I don’t like some cheap some expensive some small some large some basher some drifters some crawlers. I realize super large cars. I don’t love because they take a lot of space 1/10 is the spot for me. I also realize I like bashes first then crawlers and race cars probably tie for second and drifting is third. Also, some of my favorite cars are not the most expensive but I do have a few very expensive ones that I like so just look out my video. I bought the last 35 days shortly.
Nice little guy to add to any 1/24 scale collection. You are so fortunate to have trails to run with your vehicles. The dip in the lake water was a bonus. 🚘
Coming from the FpV world which really gets me deep into camera rigs and setups. The hero8 is just magic! Excited for the new one coming out!
I’m happy with the picture and audio quality, but it froze up in the first 5 minutes of using it and I encountered the problem one other time while making this video. GoPro has not impressed me lately. I bought the Hero 7 directly from them when it came out. It took weeks to get with their “2-day” shipping and when it arrived, it was defective. So it took several more weeks to exchange. I bought another 7 from Best Buy while I was waiting for my exchange and that unit wound up having freezing issues just as it was out of warranty. I got the 8 at Costco because it came with 2 batteries, card, hand grip, mounts and case for $290. $10 cheaper than GoPro’s lame sale for just the camera and card. I’m going to exchange this new 8 and if a new one still have freezing issues. I’m going to have to look elsewhere for action cams.
Just picked this little guy up after buying 3 cr18s and my family falling in love with mini crawlers
Another quick and easy mod is to velcro the battery to the front side of the esc/receiver to get that weight closer to center and in front of the rear axle.
Finally a trail truck video! I like the little crawler's they have a big place in the rc world. Awesome vid Greg! 👍
I got one on the way. My buddy built an indoor crawler course for small scale stuff so I had to get one. Lol
love this little truck i have been the crap out of mine and it still works
Great video, didn’t over exaggerate the product, very on point. I bought one a couple days ago but just opened it. Thank you for a review.
The element and the Charisma are nice little mini RC's but they only have a single cell lipo in it. The best RC you can get is the scx 24 with worm gears. So if you are getting a mini and don't have one yet scx 24 you won't be disappointed
Loving the new workshop
Amazing video , actually I’m going to buy it for my granddaughter thanks for the review see you in the next one.👍👍👍👍
Great video 👍
The enduro24 is ok being they are just a rebranded rgt v2. Great trail trucks but not even close to a scx24. I actually have both the scx24 and a rgt v2/enduro24. ✌️🙂
totally
Great mini crawler. Excellent gearing.
Its a rebrand of a RGT 1/24.its identical too it or brand like it.
Sooo.....
@@rcdriver I think the point is it's a low-effort release from Element. They changed the body (UGLY and poorly done - look at the sloppy paint in the bed), wheel appearance, the axle housing, and claim to have changed the electronics. It's still a 1s truck with opaque windows and bushings. Instead of taking the opportunity to bring something new and exciting to market, they mostly just made it look different and counted on the strength of their brand to bring in sales. Pretty disappointing.
Derrick Williams I agree with what you said. There are other perspectives too. Such as them taking an existing OEM truck tweaking it to be theirs and offering it at a good price point and with good service to get people into the hobby or brand. I’ve been told manufacturer’s use this business model to build revenue for other big, exciting and unique products. Everything can’t be new and innovative with every release this industry’s consumer base just isn’t big enough to support that. I like to look at releases like these as an effort to building the RC hobby. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
This comment is so common... "They changed the look, the electronics, and a few other things, but it's exactly the same! Oh, and it costs less."
@@matth9359 They swapped bodies and the Element version looks worse. It's lighter in stock form. That is the only benefit. They CLAIM to have changed the electronics, but there is no proof that is actually the case or what benefit those changes actually provide. Same for the axle housings. I believe MSRP for the RGT V2 is $89.99 and it's not difficult to find it for $80. So, the Enduro24 is $10-20 more expensive and certainly not cheaper unless you're going out of your way to get ripped off.
This is a cool crawler👍👍
Nice vid
Hello
Great content as always. will you be doing a comp video, this against the Axial 1/24th.
Thanks! Probably not anytime soon if I was. I have to get to all of the projects that I started before my move. Plus I have a bunch of other cars that need to be reviewed. I need more time in the day! 😆
@@rcdriver right on. If you need help I'm in Westchester county 😋
Tiny chevy love truck.
I'ma have to find some of those black storage racks, i got the itch going for an RC every month lol. Do you just rotate your crawler wheels every so often sitting on the racks? Thanks buddy loving the vids!!
That’s just temporary display for now until I get my shop built up. Those cars get moved around and swapped out frequently just for a change of scenery in my videos. When in storage, they typically sit in old monster truck tires, small boxes or car stands.
@@rcdriver it pays to be early, i appreciate the fast reply!! 😎
Put on some RC4WD Beadlock wheels and RokLox tires. The extra weight on the axles and grippy tires make it climb superb!
Nice RC truck 👍
Like the new shop!!
Pretty cool little truck but reminds me of a red bull can lol
I do prefer the color of that but then the one with the yellow on it.
Nice review brother, as always!!
Should also come with a ability to have OverDrive like the 10th scale.
Would love to see your take on the brushless corally Mammoth or moxoo!! Love your videos
Anybody have tips on how to take care of the battery? Do I remove while charging or keep it off and at a certain level when not in use? Should I charge/store in a lipo bag or metal box? Got this truck gifted to me and a little freaked out about battery fire or charging practices.
I think they should make an optional independent frontend for it like they do their truck I think they do like the bigger truck.
I have the same truck, what is the ch 3 switch on the controller?
Nice video man well done👍 but this is a rebranded rgt and there not very good I would advise people to spend 20 more bucks and get the axial scx24 ✌
I have this truck and the Axial SCx24 and straight out of the box there is nothing in it and in many ways the Element performs better..
I find the Axial tips over very easily and is not as well planted as the Element
How does this thing turn on??
.. not fast enough to get to Lake Bottom LOL
They should have put a dig unit on it too.
Can you find ball bearings to fit it?
Looks like a decent addition to the rest of the 1/24 stuff coming out. Left scratching my head on their steering and link decisions though. Why are manufacturers still struggling with getting CMS right?
Because Element is using someone else's design (RGT/FTX). They had an opportunity to improve it, but I guess they thought it was good enough for their brand.
Can you get a system that will take a lipo?
Nice camera, I’m finally getting a go pro, I have so many rc’s to bash and can’t make very good videos with my I phone. I’m Leary if the small cars, I always have issues with them. Should be interesting to see if it performs ok?
I got the 8 for more Vlog style stuff. It doesn’t have a replaceable lens so I’m not going to use it for action. I use a Hero 7 Black on a boom pole for action to get up close to the cars. All car detail shots are done with my iPhone. Hope this info helps with your videos!
This vs the panda power wagon?
Is it waterproof?
I bet someone makes a oil-filled damper for that size.
Is it a 1s or 2s battery?
1S, worked pretty well on 1S.
RCDriver_Online thank you.
Don’t put 2s in it! Everything on it will start to break lol. I’ve had to install scx24 driveshafts in mine just to keep it running. This thing is a joke!
2FM RC yeah that’s what I was thinking. It’s a rebranded RGT. Not the bet reputation in the industry
Phoenix RC Crawler exactly! I knew it was the RGT going into it but went for it anyway just because I enjoy modding the scx24 so much. As soon as I fix one issue on this thing there are 2 more 😂. Haven’t even been able to keep it running on stock electronics long enough to decide to upgrade to better. The throttle control on the stock setup is so horrible! It completely aggravates me every time I try to give it a chance!
Did Element send this unit to you for review?
They had to! This thing is garbage lol
@@2fmrc I'm just asking for some transparency. I can't take any review seriously unless I know this sort of information.
Now we need an IFS kit for the enduro 24
Anyone else get nervous when he rolled the truck? I thought it was going to roll it into the lake like the Trailhawk.
it's an ECX Barrage, but ok...
This truck is not water proof nor water resistant. The paperwork literally says “ This product is not waterproof or water resistant. Vehicle may malfunction if operating in wet conditions.”
Do u have insta
Yup rcdriver_online
Poor crawler. Good drift truck candidate though 🤷🏻♂️
Anyone giving this truck positive reviews and recommending it are BOUGHT! This truck is complete trash. 1s battery that has no power (switch to 2s it breaks everything),bushings everywhere-no bearings, huge diff covers or pumpkins that drag everything, horrible weak plastics, weak driveshafts and axles that break immediately on 2s in any sort of bind,Phillips head screws, and I don’t even wanna start on the horrible throttle control it has. Not to mention possibly the ugliest body they could find 😆. Please before anyone buys this look around and try the scx24! I like how everyone comments on the front mounted motor but then the battery is in the very back! It does no good. I have no ties to anyone but dont waste your money on this thing. The scx24 is so much better quality for almost the same money.
We live in a world of facts now. So since you say I’m bought, produce something that shows I am. I’ll save you the time. You can’t because I’m not. Element/ AE doesn’t advertise with or sponsor me. They sent the car for review because I am a professional that has reviewed RC products for 25+ years. A career spans that long when someone is trusted in their industry. A $100 RC means nothing to me and with the time I put into it, I’ll never make back from Adsense. It is a pure loss for me from a business standpoint. With that said, I decided to review it because it I know it has an interest group and I want to help them. You are looking at this truck from an experienced hobbyists perspective which is not the intended buyer of this rig. It is for the entry level crowd, someone that wants a cheap RC. For those purposes it’s fine. You missed the mark on it and I reviewed it as it should have been. It meets the needs of the intended buyer and will suit them fine for a general fun rig. You want to come in here and suggest things to look out for on this truck, totally cool. You want to suggest a better option from your experience; awesome. But don’t come in throwing accusations simply because you disagree.
