      I only found out yesterday I wasn't alive when they were at there peak but I listened to their music on a record player in the 80s I'm still listening to them in 2020 on CD and you tube 😊.

    I first listened to Ballroom Blitz with 8 years old. Then grew up with the more heavy side of Sweet. I think they are the reason I got mad for Heavy Metal!
    They will always be one of my beloved bands!

    My mum liked this band already in the 70s before i was born but i had not heard this song until they played it on the radio about a year ago, it is a nice one. My son likes it too so i guess we are 3 generations that likes it now. :)

    As a typical American rock radio kid of the 70s, I loved Ballroom Blitz and Fox on the Run but never knew until 2019 how incredibly diverse these guys were!! I'm amazed the rest of their songs didn't get a lot more airplay.

      Hallo, Ihr Lieben. Also lovely Brian wäre jetzt 71 Jahre alt (geboren 1945= "0" Jahre, also erst ab dem vollendeten Jahr rechnen: 2017-1946= 71) Er war 51 J. alt, als er starb 1997-1946= 51.
      Es gibt auch ein neues Sweet-Buch von Brad Jones für ca. 50 €. Es ist toll, viele Bilder - aber in Englisch. LG!

      @@sverkeren Just because they weren't allowed to play on the early songs doesn't mean they couldn't. Obviously they had to play them at live concerts. Watching them live at Musikladen proves they could play anything they wanted, and had excellent skills.

    I remember as a 7- 8 years old kids we played who could get lower under the pole as it is in this scene 0:35 😄. We got obsessed about this game and this song! 🤪.
