So, what do y'all think about Productions? :) LMK ⬇️
Productions is something else.
Very cool, definitely going to give it a try for just myself to help me keep personal projects organized. I love Envato! I am trying to find the link you spoke of, to your favorite MOGRTs? etc.? (I see your affiliate link to sign up for Envato, but I can't see where your favorites are highlighted).
Thanks for this tutorial. I have gone through all the steps but unfortunately, the production panel is nowhere to be found. I can only see team projects. There's no production dialogue box.
@@jallatelevision Did you update to the latest version of Premiere Pro? The update was just released yesterday.

This is awesome! It's really helpful seeing the comparison between the "project" and the "production" side-by-side. Thanks a ton, PG!
0:55 I’m glad Adobe is finally making this obvious shift, and I hope it makes it into all of Premiere’s project panels. I remember this taking a couple days to wrap my head around, and still can’t explain why the project panel doesn’t just reflect what’s in the actual folder.
You are quick on these updates. This new feature is sweet!! Thanks for sharing! 😎
Well, Adobe let me know about a couple weeks ago! Got some time to prep ;)
Oh you're everywhere Kevin :)
Just today I updated and I realize. Last week I was talking with my friend about editing with the connection. Thanks for the awesome tutorial.
goksel tuzun yes! That’s perfect.
Love your vids!! I'm learning so much because of u!! Keep up the good work ❤️
The production in this video is great. Your voice sounds good, and was mixed in well with the music. I really like the transitions you used to.
Thanks, appreciate it. Been paying closer attention to sound in my latest productions. Cheers!
Again a great informative and packed info. Thanks Gal!
You're welcome!
I started playing with Productions with a few Adobe teacher friends, just to be nosy... Thanks for the video - we were on the right track!
Thanks for the good explanation!
Fantastic overview!
Thanks Gal! I am trying to implement this for a Sports tournament production. Found it really usefull, now I need to convince my partners haha
Keep up the good work. I wish you all the best. From one of your fans in Nigeria.
:) cheers!
This is so cool!!
Thank you for this one Kelsey! Daniel
Sure thing, Daniel! Hope you find it useful.
This was one of the best video tutorials I have ever seen. @adobecare @adobeteam @adobelovers @adobetasteslikechidken. Thank you PremiereGal ! Looking forward to the day when you will create Da Vinci Resolve related videos as well.
Awesome dear Premier gal...❤❤❤
Great info, thanks. Feature is similar that is in Lightroom Classic for photo directories.
Good comparison!
Thank you! )
Thanks!! You inspired me to create some tutorials on my channel. Also, thanks for answering my e-mail asking for tips to do it! :)
Josep Motion sure thing!
@@PremiereGal it also helped your podcast on MotionHatch :) Thanks, Kelsey! You rock in every single way.
Hey great video. I have a couple questions - firstly how are using this with Drive to work with another editor which I saw on your website? I've been looking it myself and I think you both need to be logged into the same Drive account so the automatic back and sync works, and have duplicate media locally?
Secondly, why have you changed those preferences regarding XMP etc?
Thanks!
wondering the same!
Thanks.
Muy bueno, gracias!
Thanks German!
Uploaded video the same day as feature release. Impressive!
Mark Chadwick 👍🏼💪🏼
@@PremiereGal Why does that bicep emoji make me chuckle. Maybe because I've been home-bound for four weeks.
Hey Gal. Coming from a Final Cut Pro 2001 background, I can see that the Productions feature would have saved me days of time. Question for you. If you're doing episodic content, do recommend putting all the episodes in one production or give each episode it's own production? Thanks.
Flrst. From Drc🇨🇩 Thanks for shar
sure thing!
Do you have transition pack for Resolved ?
Can we use Productions in individual? What we can get for Productions if we use for individual? Thank you so much for your update new features of Premiere Pro CC.
Absolutely, it’s best for larger projects with lots of media, so you can have a bunch of tinier projects with less media in one production, rather than one large project. Faster open and save times. But if you work at a small scale, no need to use productions.
Google Drive - been trying to set this up and having a lot of setbacks. LMK if there's anywhere you can point me to -- thanks for the video!
Hi Kelsey, I have a general sort of video editing question. I understand that footage can often appear darker on CZcams when uploaded, so is the best way to adjust the brightness/contrast down to white balance, or are there more steps that one should take? Thanks. :)
I didn’t know it appears darker on CZcams.
I use lumetri scopes to achieve optimal brightness
@@PremiereGal Thank you, I'll check out one of your videos on that.
Easy tutorial and a very helpful tool.
Questions:
Will there be an issue if one team member using mac and other pc?
Are proxy files available to use? If yes, does it have to be a shared file or a file on local machine?
simply work no issue with Mac vs PC. And yes Proxy files work the same as in regular Premiere projects.
@@PremiereGal Thank you
Premiere Gal...Storing Assets Remotely (on shared storage) and Caching Locally...how is editing performance affected with slower connection speeds? Or perhaps...at what connection speed does one see their performance diminish? Thanks! BTW...your video is really nice.
I'm still not clear if adding a Project file copies the actual media to the new location. (Which I don't want.) I started a new Production and added an existing project, but when I open the project it just *hangs* forever.
how do i finish a roduction ? every new project i open is within the production and i dont know how to turn it off
So what if you are not collaborating with anyone else and it's just you? Just a cool neat way to organize your files???
How is it different from Teams? When do I need to use it?. Thanks
Hi gal. I have a problem with the sound of a documentary. Low budjet. The problem is i recorded the sound through the camera microphone /sony/. Then I used a professional microphone. There is a difference in sound after removing the noise. the voice does not match by the same character in some clips. Can you help ?.Greetings from Amsterdam
I have question if anyone can ans please..
I am solo editor... I just wonder is that "production" is helpful to load project faster? If yes then how explain please.
Example : i have 2 tb data ... I have to pc X and Y . On pc X i create regular project and pc Y i create production project. Then i import 2 tb data in both pc.
Than I close project. So now question if i open both project at same time so is there any different between opening? Or both take same time to opening? Or production project will open fast? Ans me...
@1:58: Why Uncheck the XMP prefs when using a cloud service?
Hi Premiere Gal!!! Love your videos. Ok, I want to do a music video with one of my original songs. I already have the music track, mastered and ready to go. All I have to do is sing it live
when I create my video. Now, part II. I've asked my musicians to play their parts and video record them. They did and send me their videos. My goal is to do a multi-screen video using premiere pro. What steps can you suggest for me to get this done? Thanks!!!!
Manny Cepeda you can stack all the video on top of each other and use effect controls to scale and reposition them and apply a crop effect to help you crop the videos.
@@PremiereGal Thank you so much. When I finish the video I'll post it so you can see what I've done. Thanks!
Hi, I understand that only the project is shared but what about the video files containing each project? do I have to make a separate copy of the entire root of the videos?
You can or but if you are sharing with other editors you can have one folder on the shared drive with all the media from which the projects point to.
@@PremiereGal thx
hallo, I'm from indonesia
I really, really like the idea of having one project for MEDIA and however many other projects for TIMELINES as described in this Adobe article: helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/how-clips-work-inside-production.html
The only problem I have with this is the Productions Panel project-locking options...if you have several editors working within a production, only ONE of them can have write-access to the "Media Project" at a time. What if one editor wants to import a new music option? Sure they can import it into the TIMELINE PROJECT they are working in...but now all your media is scattered. The idea is to have ONE parent project for MEDIA, and all subsequent TIMELINE PROJECTS children of that. Would be so clean and centralized, but you'd need to be able to disable project-locking for that project? Or open and close it constantly...yuck.
I guess that having a Business Google Drive Account for storing all your content would root that issue. Trying to figure the same here..
but no idea about the speed on editing with files on the cloud.
She be on it, lol.
DOCUMENTED always ✅
