Can I ask you... yesterday I was watching your video and setting up my brand new machine. The black electricity "switching adapter" had a tiny green light on and the machine fired up nicely. I put my first piece of wood in to get started testing and the machine turned off. The little black adapter no longer had a green light. I tried plugging into a new outlet and nothing ever worked again. I'm guessing that my unit was shipped with a FAULTY electrical adapter? Has this happened to you or anyone? I'm contacting support or course, but what a disappointing start to my adventure. UGH.

Can't say I've had this happen. Any chance the other outlet you tried is on the same breaker in your panel? You didn't happen to trip that did you? Otherwise it does sound like it could be a bad power supply or some other wiring issue internally that would have led to the supply prematurely dying... sadly that will be a support issue that you'll have to take up with them. I've never had this happen to me so I don't really have any other pointers on what else you can do in this situation!

@@EmbraceMaking Thanks for writing back... you won't believe the hoops they are making me jump through. Instructions on: taking interior panels off and checking wires on the circuit-board. Instead of just sending me a new power-block. I'm the king of bad luck. I should've bought the Xtool I guess. UGH.

Thanks for the comment and question! The QR code was inverted in Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape I can't remember which one but it wasn't in the WeCreat software.

I am brand new to the Vision. Can you tell me if you have tried to CUT acrylic. It seems, according to the Facebook group, to not be possible. Any ideas. Great Video.

You should be able to cut acrylic but not clear acrylic. So black or other colors would be fine because it is a blue laser... the blue laser will go right through the clear. Hope that helps!

Which hose adapter do you need for the Vision, you have a few and wanted to make sure I got the right one.

If you want to use a 4" hose with the Vision this is the adapter you're after: embracemaking.com/products/3-inch-76mm-flange-to-4-inch-101mm-hose-adapter
      Thanks!

Hi thanks! Does it cut acrylic

    • @EmbraceMaking

Will cut acrylic just not clear acrylic. Dark colors like black should be easy, it's a blue laser so it will go through clear and blue acrylic may reflect some of the blue light etc.
