Basic Plain & Soft Vanilla Sponge Cake Recipe Without Oven | Yummy

TODAY'S RECIPE IS Basic Plain & Soft Vanilla Sponge Cake Recipe Without Oven | Yummy
INGREDIENTS:
Basic plain vanilla cake
2 eggs
Vanilla 1 tsp
Beat for 1 mins
Sugar 2/3 cup
Add gradually
Beat until foamy consistency
Oil 1/2 cup
Beat for 1 mins
All purpose flour 1 cup
Baking powder 1 tsp
Add gradually
Milk 1/4 cup
7 inch pan
Brush oil
Place baking paper
Place a stand & heat the pan for 5 mins on medium flame
After 5 mins place the mould
Cook it on low flame for 30-40 mins or bake in a preheated oven at 160c for 30-40 mins
NOTE: 1 CUP = 250 ML

In a pre heated oven At 160*c temperature for 30-40 mins

Cook it in a preheated oven, at 150-170 degrees (depends on the oven) for 25-35 minutes. For the first 10 minutes, cook with the heat that’s down below only. Afterwards, switch to both up and down heat. This helps your cake rise perfectly.

Can I do eggless? Can we do steaming? Pl clarify whether I can do eggless & do as steamed pudding cakes. Pl upload eggless . & also need simple steamed pudding cakes with less ingredients . TX a lot for the English recipe card.

You can do eggless. In that case, use 1/2 of yogurt instead of 2 eggs. It won’t turn out as spongy though, but it will taste yummy. Add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda as well if you’re gonna do eggless.

You'd have to adjust either the dry or liquid ingredients so that it won't end up dry. Try replacing some of the flour with cocoa powder.
