Woman charged with murder, DUI in crash that killed 2 troopers, man on I-95

- Pennsylvania State Police have arrested and charged an Eagleville woman with murder, DUI and other related charges following a crash that killed two state troopers and a pedestrian on I-95 in South Philadelphia.
Jayana Tanae Webb, 21, is charged with third-degree murder, homicide by vehicle while DUI, homicide by vehicle, manslaughter of a law enforcement officer in the second degree, driving under the influence and other charges.
Cameras surrounded Webb as she made her way to a police cruiser on Tuesday morning.

I feel like ALL DUI cases should be handled at this level. Not just because there was state troopers involved. Maybe he told her he was about to be arrested..so she downed some Cognac to build her confidence and drove to the location..full speed..with total intent of harming the Troopers. She underestimated the impact..killed the boyfriend too.

There needs to be tougher DUI laws. Here in Wisconsin, it's like a slap on the wrist. You pay a $500 fine on your 1st few offenses & that's basically it.

I just watched another video with a girl from a rich family driving her parent's Porsche while drunk and high, while speeding she ran up on to a sidewalk and killed two men. The men weren't even on the road. She received 2 years house arrest and 3 years in prison (possibly reduced to 2 years.) While on the stand she talked about how she's continuing to get her MBA and what great things she's doing with her life. It was really sickening to listen to.

That's 9yrs ×3 so minimum of 27yrs plus she's got a shitload of other charges. This has to stop, I was hit by a drunk driver December 12th, 2001. Killed my gf and her daughter and I both were gravely injured. I adopted her daughter after I relive the nightmare every day. Don't drink and drive it's not worth it, get an Uber, have a friend take one for the team and be designated driver but don't do it is not just your life you put at risk.
Thats not necessarily how it works sir. Good chance they run the charges concurrently not consecutatively. Meaning all nthe charges run together not one after the other.

Alchohol does actually. When your drunk your body is in a loose state so when your invovled in a car crash your body is less likely to tense up to brass for impact. Its the bodies reaction of bracing for impact (tensing up) that causes the serious injuries

She was stopped going North on 95. She followed the State Troopers onto South 95 to get revenge for being disrespected and inconvenienced by stopping her, "The greatest drunk driver ever". This was done with malice. This was pre-meditated murder. She thought she could get away, but the damage to the vehicle caused her to crash into the barrier. That's why she remained at the scene. Her situation is complex. She was [reportedly] pulled over for speeding earlier before becoming intoxicated. Then later, She lived-streamed getting drunk [knowingly], Then went on to operate a vehicle while admittedly under the influence. Too many variables pertaining to a dui to mention in a youtube comment section, Its a case by case basis.

The scary irony is, the troopers had stopped her only minutes ago. And had to leave to go take care of the guy walking on 95.

Oh she be a ruoe model as a speaker for in Prison AA/NA meetings. For 30 years if she gets that long?

There needs to be much harsher sentences for drink driving because this is what happens when people know even if they get caught they will only get a slap on the wrist. May the victims rest in paradise ameen. So sad.
The legal blood alcohol concentration limit needs to be reduced to 0.05% for
fully qualified drivers and ZERO for new license holders for the first three
years - zero alcohol content for anyone operating a vehicle that is registered
as a commercial vehicle - i.e Taxi - UBER - Van - Bus - pickup truck or any other
commercial vehicle
ONLY then will there be a reduction in alcohol related road deaths.
The number of road deaths in the USA per 1000 license holders is excessively
high compared to Australia

TOTALLY Preventable. THAT'S the Tragedy of this. That kid is 21; she KNOWS exactly what she did; and how her future is completely destroyed. 2 State Troopers killed; and 2 families left Fatherless. Heart Breaking. Terrible. Just Terrible.
