  • A teenager who police say fired into an occupied car near Temple University is believed to be responsible for other shootings in the city.
On March 18, police say two males, a 15-year-old and his 14-year-old accomplice, approached four teen girls in a car at Broad Street and Cecil B. Moore Avenue around 8:30 p.m.
Police say the teen girls then pepper-spray the suspects and that's when the 15-year-old suspect shot two of the girls.
"The males ran and one of the males fired eight shots at that car. Six of the shots hit the passenger side of the car," said Philadelphia Police Captain John Walker.

Funny how people always blame the parents. Like really,? Parents can only do so much, but sometimes people are just naturally evil. You can beat them, give them love etc... but sometimes there's no hope, they are just born like that.... bad.
Parents usually say, I taught him better then that.

Why? So taxpayer's can be further burdened with flipping the bill to keep them alive, like countless other violent criminals?
I think it's time for taxpayer's to start looking into just how much money is spent keeping violent criminals alive, per year or even month across the country.
I think people would be disgusted, especially if they could know the details of every single violent inmates crimes.
And do not be swayed by the propaganda regarding how many "innocent" people are in prison... the number isn't as high as some want us to believe, especially when compared to howany are there for good reason.
Very few are actually innocent and even if that number, are people who may very well have committed or been accessories to other violent crimes they were never caught for.
And, the number of those who can ever actually be successfully "rehabilitated" is extremely low.
When you're in prison for such serious charges, you either led a life, or associated with people which placed you in a 50/50 percentile of being charged with serious crimes in the first place.
Having/showing compassion for violent criminals, who have no compassion or respect for anyone in society is never going to reduce such crimes, but only cause them to increase.
Just as labelling drug addiction "a disease" only provides an excuse/crutch for the addicted to use as a way out of personal accountability and responsibility... it never helps the situation or to reduce the problem.
Society must either learn to take steps required to reduce these problems, or accept it's blame in all of it.
