OMG, so many fixes out there in the internet, forums and stuff, this vid is the only thing that helped, currently downloading driver from the win update, so much thanks man
I'm having the same problem with my secondary GPU but I dont see the Xeon(R) processor at all
For anyone that still hasn’t fixed this issue yet I hope this helps:
Hook up a hdmi cable to the port of the motherboard going to your tv and once you are at the windows startup screen also hook up a second hdmi cable to your graphics card and tv.. this helped me atleast force my pc to recognize the graphics card in the device manager. ( if you have an error code 43 showing there download drivers and hopefully you will be good to go)

You have no idea how frustated i am searching everywhere to fix this problem, so many people even saying the only way to fix this is to completely reset your pc, but this simple short method is working without any problem. Thank you so much!!!
I thought I really lost my GPU after updating to Windows 10 (on a laptop). Super simple fix.
It is so dumb how you can nearly lose a gpu for stupid software reasons. And I went through hours of looking through forums, websites and videos trying to get my gpu back and it sucked. Seriously Nvidia should make things like this never happen

I don't have the Nvidia driver in optional updates in there. But in graphic devices list in devices manager I have two Intel 630. Seems on of them is the Nvidia, right? but after installing the Nvidia driver manual for it - it stills the Intel 630...
Wait, did you manually install the driver from the drop-down list in Device Manager?
@@myexperience-ih1wk of cause I installed everything. After rebooting I have: 3 graphic cards(!) in device manager (2 of them are hidden devices) and driver couldn't be installed from there if there is "no nvidia card detected".

Hi bro, I've just bought a fresh ASUS gaming laptpp with RTX 3060 and Windows can't recognise it. Installing NVIDIA drivers doesn't work either. Do you think this will do the job? Gotta check it when I'm back at home. Looks good.

@@mikemg4554 This also happened to me today. The graphics driver for my GTX 1070 randomly stopt working and i did not know why. I restartet the computer and checked Task manager, nothing. I thought the graphics card is broken because I have been mining it for many months and it is very old. In the end i uninstalled the driver and after rebooting several times it worked once again i still don't know why it didn't work

Hello there, i have a weird problem with an RTX 3090, the card is not detected in windows, doesn't have display ports or hdmi working but does full hashrate on hiveos and its detected there, what should i try and is there any possible way to make it work on Windows?
Its a repaired card, all power phases and bios are correct and flashed just no display output and not detected in windows, hiveos does mine full hashrate, any clues?
hi, if that is custom GPU type (made for crypto mining), it might not have video output, however, i suggest that you check with the seller to see the card actually supports any video output.
it didn't help me it might be a hardver (nvidia card) error

But was your gpu with the fan spinning and showing in the bios? Mine isnt so i dont know if this will solve the problem. My GPU is a RX 550 4GB and the fan dont even spin. (Its working normally on another PC and i know that my mobo is ok also)
What is the motherboard model that you are using? Try to check your BIOS settings, if there is any option to enable the GPU on the pci-express slot.

My case happened when the power went down abruptly and that caused a small electricity feedback on the video card. causing it to get fried a bit.
if that was some of your cases too, my advice would be stay calm and let it cool down a bit. Turning on your pc before that wouldn't help a thing. try unplugging the video card and replugging it after the cooldown surely would be helpful :) it works well for me.

Fuck, this shit actually worked! Shit never works for me 😂I think it was a stupid ass windows update that basically made my NVidia gtx 1650ti (dell xps 9500) disappear. At first it showed up under the display adapter settings (hidden) but nothing else would fix it. I went to the NVidia site and downloaded the latest update for it directly, but the installer couldn't find the card and failed. So I uninstalled the whole thing and had a hell of a time trying to install it again. I used the Intel (R) PCIe express port 1(under system devices), did the manual install update with the 2nd option too I think. Then I shut down the computer and restarted it. Then the 3d video controller thing appeared, and followed the rest of the video. Salute! And thanks🤜🤛

still not showing up, i got nvidia quadro k2200 and it's only showing something like "basic microsoft card" or "intel hd graphics 4400" and "intel hd graphics 4600"
in the motherboard's BIOS settings, are there any settings to enable the secondary GPU? usually it would be something like 'enable pci-e'
idk whats up with my laptop it had a nvdia graphics card but i used a hdd from another laptop that had amd graphics card and i inserted it into my laptop and it wouldnt detect graphics card editing for results
1)at device manager, are there any unknown devices being shown over there? you might need to go through the list one by one.
2) try to manually download the Nvidia GPU driver from the manufacturer's website, then install the driver

make sure the GPU is properly installed on the motherboard. you can also try to install that GPU on another computer to see if it works on the other computer

@@myexperience-ih1wk Hello And thank you for question. I have fixed the problem And the pc i am using is not this one, but anyway the problem was a bad Block on HDD which stopped loading the pcie devices i d had to install a Windows again.

Glad it helped, different components are connected to the motherboard via different types of Bus Interface, the root cause might be somewhere here, but I would need to study it in detail.

@@lavingelovato6234 my MOBO had molex power for the GPU slots and I needed to plug them into the PSU before the PC would recognise them. Hope this helps :)

@@myexperience-ih1wk Btw dont mind but the gpu vanished from the device manager again after few hours and finally i got the laptop's motherboard replaced as it was on warranty must have been a hardware issue, still keep up the good work man!

@@myexperience-ih1wk i believe so, my power board was not the model i though it was, so i think my graphics card was only getting enough juice to start the fans. My new power board arrives in 3 days! Sure hope it resolves my problem 😊

My nvidia geforce 1030 gt didnt get detected by windows but it appears in ny bios. Heres how i fixed it.
Try restarting in bios mode and turn secure mode OFF. Then boot in legacy(csm). After it won't let you on your computer boot in bios again after switching back to euif mode Then try running device manager again. I did this and tadaaaa
