I just got a second hand amd Radeon r9 280x and it has realy bad artefacting. It apparently was fine for the previous owner so it is something wrong my my system. Can anyone help?

when I plug into the graphics card, there is no video, but when I plug into the motherboard, there is video! for some reason mine is the opposite. my graphics card powers on, but isnt detected in bios. I updated bios and made sure the pcie settings were right and still doesnt detect my card. I'm not sure what to try next

for all my brethren(asus laptop owners specifically) out there facing this same calamity as me don't you listen to anyone on this wretched videos on this corrupted platform all you need to do for salvation is open armoury crate go to device gpu power saving mode switch to eco mode close the app and open it again then switch it back to standard mode. that's all my men stay safe out there and take care of your family

mine comes on and works but the graphics dont really look any better than before is something wrong or need drivers this is the first card i ever put in this pc need help

You need to go to your card's manufacturer's website and download the right drivers and software (software optionally) for your GPU. (AMD/Nvidia) Right now your gpu is probably utilizing a basic windows driver to show you an image.

@@warrenb6043 I did do that got the driver from them and adjusted the settings now it only does 10 fps but has good graphics if lower settings it looks pixelated
