- The game's new update introduces waste management with up to 10 waste components from citizens and industries, challenging demolition tasks with handling demolition vehicles and waste, maintenance for buildings and vehicles, and additional mods like residential buildings, factories, aggregate storages, and trains.
Maintenance is necessary to repair buildings and vehicles after use. Additionally, the game incorporates various mods, including residential buildings, factories, aggregate storage, and multiple trains.
Other updates worth mentioning include the addition of new western vehicles that can be purchased with in-game currency, a graphical upgrade with various placeholder graphics replaced, the introduction of research that unlock numerous features and buildings, the ability to fertilize fields for better crop yield, and the implementation of single lane roads.

So many great feature additions, such great soundtrack, such amazing gameplay.
This game was already brilliant when it just got on early access, now that it's nearing 1.0 it's nearly perfect. One of the best city builders of all time honestly and there is no end with all the mods.

😅 My heart stopped for a few seconds, I thought it was a hallucination 😂 oh man oh man, every update this game gets better and better, and we all know Cities Skylines 2 is reality, but hey let's be honest, I get more excited for WRSR Updates than CS2, the Devs are doing a precious job, I have no complaints, good job, you are doing a incredible work, keep up with the amazing updates, if you need to rest or extra time to develop things do not worry, it's so worth to wait for the new stuff, I wished that 85% of things from this game could be on Cities Skylines 2 but oh boy this is not happening, and from what I heard, you are planning for a new project in the future, I'm more excited now!
I get the sense that WRSR has upped the standard for city builders, such that developers for other city builder games *cough* CitiesSkylines *cough* has had to take a hard look at WRSR to see what aspects they can bring into their game. If they don't, then players will just ask why this or that isn't in their game as well.

I think its not bad that each game scratch a different itch in me.
I often switch between them together with anno 1800 and games like transport fever 2 .
@@TheSeb12345 I totally agree. Different games do scratch different itches. And good ideas in some games wouldn't make sense in other games. But some ideas from a game can make excellent sense in some of the other games. At least enough to be worth testing to see if it'll make the other game better. but still different.

Yeah i agree with you. Makes me wounder if we slowly reach the time where engines are powerful enough to combine all of these different things or if we are still some years too early.
Best city builder on the planet. Worthy of so much praise. It's taken 1000 hours of my time, and it'll probably take 1000 more.
it's insane that this game existed for 4 years and I didn't know about it... well at least I'm getting to know it when Realistic mode is available, which is sooooo much fun
but hey, could you (spoiler-free please) give me some advice on how to get more workers? Houses have everything they need (heating, water, electricity, food) but people won't stay there, no citizen retention... And the Border's Customs House doesn't give me enough migrants to keep my construction flowing steadily... I feel like I'm doing something wrong
I tried (spoilers) sending Migrants to a transfer Bus Station but they won't stay there, they will walk to shops and school...
biggest bottleneck so far is Workers available for construction... in real life you have Temporary Housing for workers next to construction projects
on the menu I looked for option to build a Church but could not find it... is there Church building available?

Another proposal that everyone who is already doing well will be against.
Narrow gauge railway. In the USSR, it was well developed, served mainly for the export of timber, peat and some industrial enterprises. Actually the idea is as follows:
1. Cheap and fast construction. (wood, iron and workers)
2. All rolling stock is transported by motor transport.
3. It is not possible to dock with a conventional railway, but it is possible to dock with industrial connections.
4. Can also be used for passenger transportation and transportation between buildings of enterprises.
5. The infrastructure is close to a conventional railway (can be electrified or not)
6. The possibility of building wooden bridges.
In fact, this is filling a niche between motor transport and a full-fledged railway for local transportation. Well, and an alternative connection of enterprises instead of a system of industrial connections and loaders, which allows transporting relatively large volumes of materials and products over relatively long distances. As well as additional passenger transport.
And now the second. PEAT. A resource that is convenient at the initial stages of the Republic's development. Firstly, it is fuel, and secondly, fertilizer.
As fertilizer, peat can be delivered directly to collective farms. Use as fuel for cheap low-power boilers (heating)
1. New type of terrain: swamp. it is possible to build only small houses, dirt and gravel roads and railways.
2. Peat briquetting plant. An enterprise for processing raw peat into fuel briquettes.
3. Peat boiler house. Fuel : peat briquettes. the power is low. Zaot and the cost of construction is low. As well as at the peat briquetting plant.

Many good additions, however I hope you can focus on building out the features the game already has. A refined road system with more options, such as more lanes, one way tram and trolleybus roads, trams should be able to switch off roads more seamlessly, etc. would be great. More buildings in the vanilla game for all categories, building footprints are not always asphalt but change depending on connections and other graphical improvements would be great

You guys are unreal. This is the order of importance of worldwide news:
1) Aliens are real. Without doubt, we are not alone in the universe / dimensions
2) AI is soon to reach singularity, changing the human world forever (think WALL-E)
3) 3DIVISION is releasing yet another FREE update to the best builder game of all time
It's not free, you already paid for it when you bought the game. Over 90% of game devs get this wrong, but 3Division got it right.

1,2 are just deluded wishful thinking fueled by US oligarchs that seek to misdirect your attention away from being poor because of them. 3 is also wrong, because you paid for a finished game.

I'm playing a waste-test-map at the moment and with your last "small update" you broke some things.
- Reduced train waggon capacity for aggregates (maybe intentionally).
- Asphalt pavers don't get delivered to street constructions by trucks anymore. Do I need to rebuild the construction offices? Re-assigning vehicles didn't fix it.
- Factories are not getting the full amount of workers again, even when there are a lot of suitable workers without job in surrounding flats.
- Waste processing is only effective for resources if you play with demolition and maintenance (maintenance not tested), otherwise you will get only gravel in noticable amounts.
- Even when you process every piece of waste to produce 100% clean ash at the end, you can't do anything with it, you're forced to export it. The game lacks a very big landfill, which is able to deal with the ash... and it's not a small amount, you need to deal with a huge amount of ash over time.
- So at this moment and because you can't do anything with clean ash, the entire waste management is a bit useless unfortunately. It's best to just burn the entire waste, get some electricity out of it and export the ash... you cannot dump it somewhere else.
And if you're reading this... *PLEASE* do some changes to the electric energy system. The capacities of the lines are way too small, in reality you can run a 1.400MW nuclear power plant on a single power line (not practical due to safety reasons in case this line fails, but it's possible to do it). Single 110kV power lines (as a set of three phases) can deliver at least 300MW, 20kV mid-voltage circuits are abe to transport 20..30MW at least. The problem in this game is not to produce enought power or get/transport the needed resources to run enough power plants, it's the distribution of electric power, which in reality is the easiest part of the system. Maybe you didn't have the numbers when you started writing this game... but the Chernobyl power plant (which is matched really good by the in-game buildings) had an electric generating capacity of 1000MW per reactor. Not 78MW per reactor. If you rise the amount of power produced by the power plants, you can raise the power demand of the city buildings and industry too - but please give us power lines which are really able to provide power for our cities.
Also the game has a problem when you build too many power substations or switches in a row - at some point the electricity just stops and doesn't get delivered to further substations or swichtes anymore.
Another problem occurs when you try to bolster a fully loaded big power line with a smaller one or a small power plant to provide only a bit more electricity to someting. Say you've got a nuclear power plant which you want to produce most of the power and you connected a big city with 20MW of demand using a 18MW power line. You can't generate the missing 2MW by a smaller coal power plant at the end of this line. Trying that leads to massively overloading the smaller power plant (or smaller power line) and you get power outages while the 18MW power line isn't fully loaded anymore. That's just not working, that's a bug. You need to find someone in your team of programmers who is able to write a better power distribution calculator for the game, a real load flow calculation. You don't need a real one (for AC and all it's phase problems), a rudimentary DC-only will do it absolutely fine for a game.
I'm sorry to tell, but at this moment the game still isn't in a release-ready state, but please keep up the good work. I want this game to become a success.

Uh. I haven't played this for two years. Is it even manageable today? I mean with heating, snow, management of heat and electricity distribution and workforce distribution, it was almost too much. Especially when all workers start to go to contruction sites, which do not have material anyways.
My issue with this game was there's no slow start from agricultural town living from wood and coal production to modern city, people can't live without heating using coal, water from wells or transported by cisterns.
Otherwise I've spend like 150 hours in the game already and overall it's not bad. When I played it for the first time, my main issue was industry balance. Once you have oil, it's source of infinite money. Mass producing steel was also good and then i think clothes? plastics? can't recall. But steel production required lot of workforce, energy and space. Oil just worked requiring one refinery, pipes and trains.
You can turn off systems if you want, like heating or water for example.
I think industries are being rebalanced now, and this update has tech trees that you need to research in the different university buildings. Resources are also hidden until you research them, so you can't just start mining oil on day one.
I never found the logic of the game. I was always trying to make things work, but it managed to fall apart from things like not having any idea how to transport people when they failed to load. Or bring them to a place, then to another. I tried hard to like it. Dev said, there are tutorials online. Ok, but I dont intend to copy other people. I want to understand it. The guy was weird. It almost seems like he didnt understand or didnt bother if you understood. I mean programmers have their uses, but their good maths that are forced on them arent a prerequisite to understanding big picture or being able to describe it. I wanted to know why, what function does x and Y do. Perhaps I should have read code.
