Been wanting to try one out, I have noticed some of their optics aren’t bright for my liking but they are good
The illumination is pretty much useless in the sunlight but it doesn't bother me because I just use the reticle. If I'm shooting and it's overcast or raining I will turn it on.

I sent Monstrum a msg on Amazon about lens covers and here is their reply;
"Hello,
for the ocular piece it measure 33mm however since it tapers inward you might have a hard time with the lens cover coming off and the objective size is 36mm"
From looking at your pictures and those on Amazon I think they are correct about the ocular cover not staying put... just a thought.

I have a light distance prescription with a +1.25-50 bifocal and a BAD astigmatism in dominate eye. I can adjust focus perfectly and ditch glasses altogether with the Blackbird 1.5x V2

@@ChrisFromThe740 Have you measured the dot at distance? Loving everything about the 1.5x V2 except... manual states center dot 3moa or 2moa depending on what page you're on but I measured it as covering 6 inches at 75yds tonight. That 8moa!!! Huge and almost unusable for anything past 75yds! Thankfully I bought to run on a 9mm AOW with 5.25" barrel before suppressor. It'll work for that but...buyer beware.
I use it for USPSA everything is 25 yards or less

It will be just fine this PCC has more recoil than 5.56

Probably not since the optic is already magnified
@@ChrisFromThe740 thanks for answering the question although it sounded crazy. I only considered this because I liked the compact option and figured the reticle would be for getting on target fast.
@@AllThingsLoud_ I think the 1.5x magnification would mess with the magnifier. I would try the Monstrum Marksman 1-20 it's what I use on my competition PCC I think it would work great with a magnifier. I have a review of it on my channel also.
