"Don't waste the gift of youth." Truer words have never been said.
or dont get married and have children....and play good video games
@@epicstyle1000no you are responsibility to society and your bloodline.
@@tavernburner3066no the bloodline means nothing and overpopulation is already a more concerning problem as the days go on I’m not saying don’t have kids I’m just saying it’s really not as important as people think it is because nobody is gonna be alive to see their bloodline go on but just because of that fact doesn’t mean they shouldn’t experience life the way they want
@@Cujo_PapaJohn over population is a myth spread by armchair economists.
Try living to COVID.
"Marginally toxic"
typical Gen Zer
Fortnite in a nutshell
I mean i have seen some toxic behavior in my playgrounds, but honestly is kind of small
Yeah, its almost as bad as the Rick and Morty Fanbase a few years back. But I loved that joke
@@user-tr1ne2ov1t if there's anything I've learned as a millenial is that every community becomes more and more toxic over the course of years since launch of the game.
The accuracy of the video hit me as hard as a Bluey episode.
I actualy had the exact same feeling. True words! 😂
Lol oh yeah 😅 it does lol
Bruh, I didn't even know this what reality I'm living before watching it! 😅
Accuracy?
Lol?

Time to spread democracy across the galaxy and go for a walk.
A very enthusiastic walk.

@@majormoron605 What!?

Davis’ kid watching this in the future be like 😮
This is why I have a switch, 90% of my gaming is done on the train while I commute to and from work
My Man! I know a lot of people shit on the Switch now, but as a married guy in his mid 30's working a Mon-Fri 8-4 while constantly having to take care of our house; the fact that good games come few and far between on a portable console where you can play in 15 minute intervals is exactly what I need and LOVE!
Enjoy your youth friends. You'll notice when it's all gone...
Rip youth
Or maybe just don't have children
It will help, but will not STOP the clock
@@Ratscracher Youth starts dribbling up over time, kids or no.
@@Ratscracher
Lol, if u think kids are the bad part, wait til you work 40-60hr work weeks, you’ll soon discover the real soul drain, and it isn’t your loving family, kids, or pets.. it’s a place you go to rot and waste your time away for a check for permission to exist.
Millennial parent here. I've literally been trying to compromise how I can continue gaming in a way where I don't get hooked on the game and invest too much time. I think this just gave me advice.
Just don’t get too hooked.
Lots of short sweet bursts of gameplay, like a single piece of candy in a turd filled minefield!
Or you could play Hades. Each run is only 30/40 mins long, and it's a super satisfying game to play solo (highly addictive at first, for sure, but once you passed the 600h mark, it should be manageable)
Play great educational games with your kids. For example, I learnt addition and basic multiplication from playing Black Jack with my uncle (no money involved). About negative numbers by counting points of wins, loses in cardgames. Later got better understanding about History from playing Civilization (like tech tree) and Total war (like various units and their types). Or just to relax play party games with them ("Rayman vs Rabids" were so popular in my household). Of course, this is what worked for me.
@@jjstarrprod thank you for not saying addicting
Playing Halo 2 with my dad are some of the fondest memories I have in an extremely difficult relationship with him. My advice - play games with your kids.
"One day you will have a wife and kids"
Gen Z record low marriage and kids rate.
I mean it's still possible...
Not if I have anything to say about it.
It is still possible, but an increasingly less likely one.
Given that the oldest Gen Z is 27 and job Hunting, financial security and generational wealth is all dead... Yeah that's not surprising.
My bloodline ends with me.
@@thesaltybeard1793 cant, not an only child, and sister got kids... meaning no family responsibilities on me when it comes to carrying on the bloodline. So kinda same
I'm a self employed millenial that is unmarried with no children. I do what I want.
I'm also desperately poor, but you have to look at the silver linings.
Hello struggling millennial here some tips to save money that you will either ignore or give 2 palworlds about
1 save money by regrowing food in your back yard if you water the ends of foods like scallions onions cabbage garlic celery ginger etc you save money since all you do is cut the bits off and the plant never dies just keep watering each day and it's essentially free money
2 dont buy milk cartons instead buy canned milk it's proven healthyier than cartons and last longer and spoils less often
Lastly 3 best way to save money is reduce cost like switching to cheaper brands or making expensive stuff last longer by using cheap additions. Like buying rolling papers to make your cigs last longer or keep left over beef stew last longer buy adding more cheap vegetables and gravy packets/ another example instead of lays chips get great value
Also a unmarried millenial with no children here.
Difference is the "self" part. Well and the poor one as well. Not rich but comfortable lifestyle here.
Nearly got suckered into that trap too. If things are "good", they are "great". If things are "bad", they are "shitty".
Sure you can, in theory take a year long vacation. You just won´t make money in that time. And even if you "work", unless you got customers there is no money while the company still eats some up.
On the flipside one can be employed by a company. 40 hours per week work with 30 vacation days per year. Depending on several factors the payout is most likely less that what your work is worth but on the other hand unless the whole company goes belly up or you screw up majorly you usally got a job for years if not decades, which usually comes with additional benefits too. Also depening on job, even if there is little to no work you still get paid :) .
And thanks to corona a lot of service jobs nowadays even can be handled from home. Place I work at got over 2K people just at that location. About half of them, baring on site events, are more or less permanently in homeoffice. Not me though, IT needs to be onsite, baring emergencys, 100%. I´m not complaining, but I´m also completly unsympathetic when people, who saw less of the company in the last year then I did last week, have to come in for something, like getting a replacement notebook because they spilled their lunch on the old one. True story that one, too.
The twist...they are only 1 year apart!
Unlike us Gen Xers, who only play nostalgia bait remakes and 16-bit styled games to hold on to the little bit of memories we have in order to stave off the cold reality that we don't have long in this chaotic world, and our demise inches ever closer.
Don't forget that we play these to forget about how we lose abilities and reflexes as we age, so can no longer "git good" due to natural skill issues we cannot change just by grinding them; or just as a mental distraction to keep our brains active a la our parents and grandparents doing the daily crossword in the newspaper (which is probably a shared thing with some actual baby boomers as well, if they received tech gifts). 😅
Guys, why do you feel the need to attack us like that !? Life isn't hard enough already ?
I'm Gen X and I love playing new(ish) games. I will admit that I do have some favorite older games that I go back every so often and play due to nostalgia.
Gen X means kids are old enough to play games with you. Best of both worlds.
Millennials have been playing bad games since I was a kid in the early 2000s and I never got it
You mean good working bad games. At least our games worked and games were complete. Now gen z have to play games that are broken, performance issues, micro transactions on release date. We had mtx but not as big as now. Every game now has to have it smh. Now gen z it's growing with this type of games and think that's normal and it's not. I wish I could go back to a time we're game released complete and didn't have any pre order bonuses.
My guy, millennials WERE kids in the early 2000s.
@@nakenmil millennials are people who were under 18 by the year 2000
@@nakenmil That's because the 00's still produced games at a time where Sandbox was taking off and FPS was yet to become insane. And Online connections were still growing.
It was the 2010's where Lootcrates and micro transactions came along competing with free to play games and reducing the gaming genres that come out in short periods.
Consequently more games trying to face unrealistic deadlines come out too early and risk being the death of a series or worse a development studio.
@@fuentesjuanjose90 i miss the time of add-ons... Those actually gave you most of the time an additonal game (looking at zoo tycoon and dawn of war). I was fine with that, and i can't stop to hate the people who actually bought the first ever dlc's who almost gave you nothing....
That was... surprisingly dark.
Jesus. This is….this is too accurate. I’m married I have a kid and two jobs. The only games I play are the stupid mobile app games. And I can only play them when I have downtime between shows at the broadcast station. Don’t squander your youth! By which I mean, PLAY MORE GAMES!
Sounds like the perfect chance to get a steam deck or switch and play some turn based game during downtime rather than mobile garbage, dude
@@PedroIgori Funny. I picked up Stardew Valley for my Steam deck for basically this reason just a few minutes ago. Haven't really used the thing in a few months at least. Been looking for more casual stuff to fill that downtime. Feels like I just can't go on those long gaming stints anymore, like I get tired faster or something.
@@samc9133 probably need to change your gaming habits and try out new genres
I’m married. 1 kid. Full time job and get lots of gaming in while still spending lots of time with the family
Millenial, still play Helldivers 2. Am employed and have responsibilities.
Fuck the norms.
Everyone else: (New, highly visible and popular Triple A titles)
Me: (replaying Dragonball Z: Buu's Fury on an emulator)
And only 5 HR complaints were filed that day...
Dude, millennials will be the coolest freaking retired gamers ever, they'll know to appreciate it like no other gen would.
Because we had the best consoles of all time, the PS2, and then the BOOM of Online gaming that was Xbox 360!
Im a Gen Z and my big bro is a millenial, cant wait to see how accurate the video is going to be😂
Edit: I wanna cry now
Did it check out?
I fit neither stereotype
@@PogMcDog dude they aren't stereotypes it's based off of your birth year...
@@davidletarte214dude they totally are stereotypes.
Getting older doesn't mean you have to have kids, and I'm sure some gen z already do
@@kamikeserpentail3778 i was just saying, whether you're gen z or a millennial is determined by what year you were born, not by which stereotypes ya fit.
but yeah, i'm a millennial without kids so i don't fit into this particular paradigm 😁
Isn't he the guy from Smosh?
Gen X here. The hubby and i both are gamers. We have kids, most who are gamers. We have grandkids, who like playing games. We grow and adapt. I know not everyone is like us, but we always found ways to make things work. And still do things outside of gaming too. Find that happy balance.
I don't know which gen i am (born 92) but i have a similar experience. I was introduced to gaming as soon as i was able to actually play games. Started with the SNES, my grandma had one at her place aswell, and did play it often, as well as some games on floppy for her pc. My mother an brother where also gamers, i finally got my gf to become a gamer (i found the right type of games for her) and my daughter is also on a good way of becoming a gamer 👌
Your a Millennial dude. Just like me (1986) @@pascalpodszus8091
It's not that people don't have time for games, it's that they have priorities that don't match up with finding time to play games.
Just like reading, or drawing.
Gotta make time to do what you love, despite the 9-5
YOU QUESTION HELL DIVERS DEMOCRACY
DEMOCRACY IS NON NEGOTIABLE!
This hits a little too close to home...
Laughed out loud at "meaningful life choices" 😆😢
All I had to do to stop my two year old from eating poop was play a game with my two year old sitting next to me, give him a fake controller, and make him think we were "bonding" while I was off in my fantasy world going on quests partially forgetting about my "wonderful" life choice for a short period of time. It worked for years, until his mom snitched on me. He was maaaaddddd
I don't like the comparison of each generation as boomers, gen z, millennials, etc etc, because that's a LITERALLY the equivalent of the comparison of kids, teenagers, adults and elderly, and AS MUCH AS WE ALL HATE TO ADMIT IT AND WOULD RATHER MAKE FUN OF WHOMEVER IN IGNORANCE, we ALLLLL eventually grow up to say the EXACT same thing to your grandchildren what your grandfather told you.
Look at what Gen z says about Gen A. The cycle just repeats.
And gen x is always forgotten
Well I had my kid young. I was born in 1981. Which makes me technically makes me millennial. My son born in 1999 is technically a millennial.
So yeah, generation names are meaningless. Just really complicates the concept of young and old.
No shit. That was the entire point.
As always the zillennials are forgotten.
Ok this is one of the funniest videos yet. Davis being insane is always entertaining
This is why my gaming time is between 1am and 8am every Saturday and Sunday morning.
No missus, no kids awake... just Freedom and Democracy.
This definitely is a great video.
Great video warp zone your channel is freaking awesome and I mean that personally 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
3:00 that was a really convincing bubble popping sound
wow, I havent watched a warp zone video in a few years and your so thin! that's crazy! great job man! you look great!
Wow that got dark real quick
A gamer don't resent the family he love about gaming.
A gamer adapt and compromise some time to play... Or play when everyone is asleep 😉
But always put your family first!
I played everyday since controllers had wire and only 1 freaking button!
That was intense for Warp Zone.
Can’t wait for more hilarious content from this channel!!!
Dang, that took a dark turn in no time.
It's Noah! 😂
“Gee, I can’t wait till I get to hike school…”
Noah with only one hair color?!
Oh, the pleasure of having no kids in my thirties ..... And this makes me double down on it.
Yeah, the dads of millennials were right in saying, "Don't ever get married".
Father of two, here. I heard "Hell Divers 2" is a terrible game with awful gameplay, third rate graphics and a tedious story. I heard that from my brain, because I will not read reviews, nor speak to my younger colleagues.
Sounds like socialist propaganda to me. Contact your local democracy officer.
Man I remember that, working full time and still finding time to keep up with Warcraft raids. Soooo much stress.
Millennials grew up playing terrible games. We got used to them and accepted what we had because our choices were limited, or a relative bought the game so we felt that we must play it.
Now we have kids who will play equally trash games but the graphics are realistic while refusing to play a game that’s fantastic but the graphics aren’t good.
I feel sorry for you.
I grew up playing great games.
@@kamikeserpentail3778 I played a lot of great games growing up.
There were a couple of stinkers but that's life.
Shut up your games were better and we all know it
That was such a satisfying pop sound...
...Meanwhile genX is drunk, high as balls and functioning on 4 or 5 hours of sleep in order to both game and live
Nostalgia is a hell of a drug
I don’t know why this hit me in the feels.
This video is way more relatable than it should be haha
man this channel still holds up in quality, today even after a whole decade
Thank god for handheld systems. I play games on both my PSP, Switch and 3DS while on my break at work and sometimes play games while on a long bus ride. Also I go back to play my retro consoles whenever I have a moment or nothing better to do.
I've been watching the Warp Zone on and off for... it must be over 10 years now, and seeing Davis "grow up" like this feels way to real xD
I think this video was just gen x vs millennial, renamed and republished 10 yrs later
Even parents and spouses need to carve out some personal time in their day. Taking an hour or two for yourself isn't going to ruin your kids or cause a divorce. Not if you have a reasonable spouse and you give them an hour or two for themselves in return.
Wow. So true. And I’m a gen x who still has his game boy advance sp cuz playing Zelda minus cap is fun as hell
I absoloutly love the little dig at people who act like not having a child means you have ZERO responsibility, they are the actual worst lol
Single, No kids, and a millennial. I have enough responsibilities. Trust me. Though I definitely can do whatever I want
Survival isn't really a responsibility.
@meoff7602 bills, projects at work, taking care of elderly parents, keeping promises, doing taxes, taking care of pets, staying in good health, providing a good example to people younger than us even though we don't have kids, voting, recycling, not littering, not being an asshole neighbor. All responsibilities, and the list goes on and on. I don't quite know where you get the idea that surviving so you can do stuff like this isn't a responsibility.
@@illdecidelater723 Most of that is just basic survival.
@@illdecidelater723 I love you think being a decent person is a responsibility. For me it's who I am.
"Any bethesda game" 😂
Born in 94 and I manage to balance DnD, work, family, and videogames.
Omg.. This is 💯 so true!
I'm 32 with a 3 year old and a set of 7 month old twins. I love my life and I'd change with no one. I have 10 minutes of free time a day to eat, poop, shower, and have chill time... I just wish I didn't have to sleep, it'd save 5 hours of wasted time a day.
2:06 I share the same feeling.
For that same reason, I'm just a casual gamer 😅🎮📺
Truly Academy level of Acting Wonderful!!
Keep'um coming 🎉 . They get my bro-in-law so annoyed
That kiss was the cherry on top
Truth! As a late-Gen Xer, those were the stages of my life, but now I don't play video games very much any more, even though I have the time again...
This hits too hard...
aw man its so spot on.... got a 3 years old and man am I struggling...
The soft touch on the cheek got me
Moral of the story: don't have kids
Hit a little close to home 😂
Er hat sowas von Recht. Die Jugend ist eine Zeit der Glückseligkeit. Und nichts, auch nicht eigene Kinder, werden jemals diese Zeit ersetzen können.
This is too relatable
As a Millennial, you can absolutely still play video games in your 30s. It just takes longer finish them. When I was a kid something like Mass Effect could be blown through in a weekend. But today it would probably take me a couple two months. Persona 6 might take a whole year considering I still haven’t finished Baldur’s Gate 3.
My father played god of war 4 and god of war Ragnarok, and also days gone (Yes, I choose the games for him), I wouldn't say he plays bad games.
Me: "Why does that look like Noah in the thumnai- YOOOO THAT *IS* NOAH!!"
As a Gen X gamer, that monologue was on the spot but kinda tame. You gotta add playing till 2am then paying for it for a week as your body just can’t recover like it used to.
Have played with a few randoms and I still haven't made any negative experiences in Helldivers 2.
This is so accurate 🤣
That was strangely beautiful
Thank you
Davis is going to make a great Dad one day if he's not one already.
i havent played a pvp game since like 3 months
A sketch I can relate to.
This got so deep 😂
A bit off-topic, I still remember a conversation I (an older millenial) had with a collegue (an older Gen Z or a very young millenial) a couple of years ago. We were talking about classic horror games. He said something about being afraid of playing Silent Hill 2 alone as a kid. I mentioned that I sometimes just turned off my trusty 286 PC mid-game out of fear when playing Alone in the Dark. His reaction: "You had a 286? Exactly how old *are* you?" One of the more memorable instances that painfully reminded me of the passage of time, but also one of the funnier.
Honestly as time went on ive gone to love shorter games. Thank god i found games like resident evil
Yeah. Everyone thinks they want these 100+ hour epics, but then you're taking months to get through them and most just get dropped.
I took like short games. This is why I play Mario but never pickup the mushroom
Playing trash games is like a key point in this anime called Shangri-La Frontier, its about this guy who only played garbage games but because they are garbage he got really good at playing video games. So when he tries an actually good game, hes really good at it.
I dont have kids or wife but work a lot and cause of I cant really get into gaming like i used to with most games not really holding my attention. Rarely i find a game that i get intersted in and if i do play a game usually single player game and perhaps 1-2 hours i play if i can find time.or if said game peaks my interest for a bit
I'm Gen M (81, August.) and I actually do tell younger people to revel in their youth and to enjoy every damned second of it. Honestly, I should take my own advice and enjoy the time I have left. HOWEVER. I did manage to dodge the bullet on the whole kids thing. Was too busy playing video games.
I'm 40 and I do more than helldive hahaha.
I played no games for a few years after my son was born.
Now I'm back with the good stuff hahahaha
Depressingly accurate...
I've seen this same skit before. They rehashed it and mentioned Helldivers 2 this time.
Facts!
This reminds me of people who watch movies that are "So bad they are good." Never understood that.
Hey I'm 44 no kids no spouse and still enjoying free time. So some of us did dodge those bullets.
Damn Davis is looking good 😎
Davis has really had a glow up
I just play mobile honestly the only game I play is Monster Hunter Now. It's like a pokemon go type game that's short and while I'm out doing errands I just pop up the game when I'm waiting or walking around I hunt monsters. That or afk where I can play or have the game grind materials to progress me faster.
Me watching this as a 29 year old who has absolutely no interest in having kids and almost no interest in a relationship -
😎
