As a millennial, I understood like 93% of what was said but I don't think I could talk back to them using the same words. I finally understand first gen kids of immigrants who understand their parent's native tongue but can't speak it.

Cellphones and thier integration with antisocial media is the root of the degredation of society in many aspects. There is liberation in not having access to one. People can wait..and they will. Not all responses must be immediate....except when living in the now, which you will be doing so much more of without a constant blinking notification at your side. Try it. :)

Edit: Here's short explanations for some of the slang. Does Gen-Z really talk these way? YES and NO. YES, they use these slangs but NO I doubt they use it in a way like in the video. Some of the slang in the video feels somewhat forced to fit the narrative but still makes sense nonetheless.
-Drip is the modern version of swag: typically refers to one's style (such as clothing/personality/music) as being cool and stylish.
"Yo, that guy's fit is drippin hot 🔥 🥵"
-Cringe: refers to being an embarrassment, people associate it when someone/thing acts/say that makes em feel ashamed or awkward.

Having just rewatched this a year and a half later, I finally understood it, except for the “glow up” part because I thought she meant she wanted LED lighting designs added to her PC, but when she said “lag” I then thought she probably actually was asking for a better CPU and/or GPU processing chip device, or some kind of better graphics card. I was still confused.
The fact that she instantly threatened the shop to destroy their credibility on social media is spot on. People are just waiting to get angry all day every day.
Oh yeah, people go from 0-100 faster than an electric car. I have the same job as they do in Bored and I tells you, it's nasty. Though I can't shit on younger people for this, it's actually the older people who resort to such threats the most. And wow do things get volatile, esp with trying to explain that it's unfortunately the customer's fault for mishandling a piece of electronics.

I think it’s also likely that “finna” originates from “gonna” because “fi” is close to “go” on a keyboard.
