Hello we bought a 2012 fusion sel this is installed factory I saw the box for it it also says ford on it however when we bought the car they didn't tell us it had this option do you think it works the exact same way?
Usually the Ford box requires an extra remote from what I've seen in the past

I bought my Fusion used from dealer, they gave me 2 starter fobs, they dont work, changed batteries in both. Would it be the fobs bad or the starter? And can I start it the way you did without using those fobs? Or was that a remote starter you installed to work that way?

You wouldn't be able to program it, neither can ford, it's a proprietary system

@@annekeb1031 Focus is a compact car, Fusion is a mid size car, and the Taurus is the full size equivalent. All three are now discontinued in the US, but are still sold in various other countries.

I did not install a kit on your vehicle so unfortunately I cannot help. If you did not have this installed on your vehicle I do not recommend trying

@@azoz1138 it's not a self install kit. It requires a 2 stage programming procedure. You'll need a shop to do it. I can help if you're in East Texas
