  • Hammond mouthpieces continue to be an extremely popular choice in the Trombone Shop. While we see more folks trying them on large bore tenors and bass trombones we felt that the small shank mouthpieces deserved a fair try as well! Take a listen and let us know how the 14S shapes up!

The Hammond sounded really good comparative to the Bach. I’ve really been impressed with the line of mouthpieces Hammond produces. I use a 12L for my euphonium and marching baritone work and a 12ML for my tenor. I have some bass trombone friends that also love the bass mouthpieces and have used them for a while

Do you think the 12ML for tenor would be good for marching?

@@BlainePerrin 12ML is a shallower version of the 5G. You’ll get a lot more projection from it if that’s what you’re aiming for. In my option I think the 12ML for tenor is a great option. The intonation on it is pretty predicable as well

    So it's more like a Wick 10cs or a Giardinelli 5?

Can you do a comparison of the Lindberg 10c and Dennis Wick 10cs for jazz?
