The final chapter in the 10-year long journey of Harry Potter has finally arrived and the film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is nothing short of a triumphant, visually stunning and yet, most of all - an emotionally wrenching curtain call for this beloved film franchise. The long awaited face off between Harry and the evil Lord Voldemort finally arrives, but not before a heavy and heartbreakingly fatal toll is exacted upon not only a number of beloved key characters, but also, upon the Hogwarts school itself. Leading up to the fatal finale. Harry, Hermoine and Ron journey into increasingly dangerous territory to destroy the last remaining Horcruxes which contain fractions of the Dark Lord's soul. The final confrontation between Harry and Voldemort is nothing sort of spectacular... filled with surprising revelations and terrible consequences. The action sequences and special effects are superb in every way. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is that truly rare film that elicits a wistful and bittersweet lump in your throat when the final credits roll and it leaves audiences sad to let old friends go - but grateful for the journey.
