I just read the first chapter of the first book in my life at the age of 22. I was raised in an Evangelical household that viewed Harry Potter as Satanic and witchcraft, so I missed out... I have all the books, but I'm hoping to get into Graduate school, so I don't really have time to read stuff I want to. It was a page turner. It was so good. I wish I could pause reality and just stay outside in the cold on a hammock reading all the books.

The depression become a dreadful creature that eat your joy and your good memories, expecially when they are very few confronting to your bad memories, and so are even more precious.
And she has survived from that, alone, desperate, with a child.

J.K is a legend that will never die. She didn’t just create a book series that we love and cherish but she created another home for us PotterHeads. I will always love Harry Potter and these books are close to my heart and helped me through hard points in my life. J.K is an angel.

It's so inspiring that she made such a beautiful world while going through some of the darkest moments of her life. She's the reason I wanted to be an author when I was a young child. I don't care what people say about her, I'll always love and respect her as an artist.

The best stories are the ones that are inspired by real events in the authors life. A fictional character based off of a real person, a fictional world or events inspired by reality give real meaning for the person writing the story. THAT, is the true magic of the Harry Potter series.
I'm sad J.K. had to go through so much hardship, but in the end it gave us a fantastic story and made her a strong woman.

I can't believe that she wrote HP and Fantastic Beast like they were her family's history in a magic world. She have a brilliant mind. When reading the book, you can't contain the excitement of what's happening next while your imagination keeps wondering and following the story like they were real, like you're actually in their magical world since it is detailed. If you mix all of these novels you have Harry Potter in its entirety.... Harry Potter is a nice story, but it's not original at all - the magic school, the platform, Harry and his owl, the magic, the creatures... All of it was already invented in these novels I just mentioned... So yes, it's no surprise that a single brain came up with Harry Potter - the surprise would be that it would need several brains to come up with it, when it's not that difficult. Still, props to JKR for writing the books but they're not original - like, at all. Definitely not genius mind*

when my dad bought me the set of all the harry potter books for my 7th birthday i beyond excited, so the first thing i did was open the last book and read nineteen years later telling myself that one day i would be reading this chapter. now 7 years later i have just finished that chapter, and i can proudly say that ive read all the books

I am so inspired by this woman. Not just because of the brilliant story she made, but because she pulled herself out of darkness, and lots of people cannot do that. You can tell she’s strong, and never gave up her dream on what she wanted to do. She had some serious roadblocks in her path, unfortunate ones to be exact. But her relating her personal life so much to the Harry Potter series just shows how important it is to her. She’s a true Gem, and I can’t have nothing but underlying love for her. I like The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher, it does not go hind in hand, it is for adults but the morality of Dresden is evident as is his desire to protect people from supernatural evil. I hope soon the movie industry will do this series of books into a great movie series. just as they have done with the Harry Potter series and make these books also come alive on the big screen. If they do a good job it will also have a following, we love these imaginative worlds and the authors who create them! I am looking forward to more Magical Beasts and anything else coming out of JK Rowling's creative mind. Her books are so real that they take on a life of their own.

I like to think most extremist Christans (some of which are a part of my family) are the minority.

If they ever make a JK Rowling biography movie, I would LOVE that, in the very end, when Rowling got her happily ever after, that a boy who looks alot like Harry who was walking by, stops and looks at her, then he smiles and waves at her, like if it’s her character and the world she created waving at her, telling her that everything will be fine. And Rowling smiles and waves back, knowing this and accepting this, for she knows that even when times get difficult, there will always be hope and magic to make things brighter, just before the credits roll.
As a trans boy. J.K. Rowling is my biggest inspiration. I don’t care if she has her own beliefs on transgender people. She still has a brilliant mind and created one of the best book series in the world.

This is really inspiring. Despite all of the negativity that came through her life, it's of her uttermost heart to express herself in ways that's way more creative than just to lay there down and blaming your life and everyone else's. The twists there are just fantastic and intricate very eligant and sophisticated than very few and gifted human being would ever come to its complexity and detail.
