Gleaner L3 to harvest Big Bluestem, antique John Deere Windrower to swath wild flowers

A lot of harvesting going on right now. We are just finishing up our major harvesting. Check out how it went.

Harvesting prairie and wildflowers is a lot of work. We not only use an old allis Chalmers gleaner, but we also use a John Deere windroser, and hand pick. It's fall harvest, and our old equipment is perfect for the job. Welcome to Hoksey's Prairie Farm (Hoksey Native Seeds).

A smaller bag with a bathroom trash can (bottom cut out) attached to your belt works great.
