Antique John Deere and Allis Chalmers pull type harvesters to harvest the prairie this year

Though they may be older than us, these machines are tanks. They go through so much silage every year and keep on giving. Our prairies are not easy to harvest. We sometimes miss the days when we only had two crops and two combine heads. Now we have several combines customized to harvest the different wild flowers. Normally, we are an Allis-Chalmer farm, but we use what we need to, even if that means going to the John Deere green.
