I think digging the aster up and dividing them will help rejuvenate them too.
I planted these from seeds and it just seems as if they will only last for so long. The Summer and fall blooming ones are more robust.

Sorry to hear that. This type is not as robust as the Summer and Fall blooming types. Did you plant it from seeds?
