The fact that the Silver Teak Mask *does* state that it, _“Greatly increases arcane to the detriment of physical attack power.”_ on the front page… but Ben is only checking the numerical defense stats, and not seeing that item description to indicate that it modifies other stats on the right, while Tom is on the screen where he's not paid to read and is just saying what's written (thanks to the comments) is too perfect.
Even though he has enough arcane to use Eleonora's Poleblade now, I'm certain that he doesn't know that the Great Stars mace restores 1% HP on every hit in addition to procing Hemorrhage, since that's one of the benefits that's even _LESS_ prominently detailed.
And switch display mid shows all the lore and special effects like stats or special damage boosts
It actually does even say it on that screen, just on the right hand side where his stats are.
With evidence of their reading comprehension I wonder if they actually know how to play Warhammer or if they know 20% of the rules and just make the rest of the shit up.
Pretty sure most people do not pay attention to any stats aside from the main ones. Like why would a casual player ever bother to look at the text description part? Usually that part is functionally useless, with everything necessary being shown in the stats.
I'm saying this as someone who does notice it, but that's because i tend to minmax more than normal. I have no idea why any of you have any expectations for someone who didn't even finish the whole game to look a description page that usually only contains lore (only a small minority of overall armor have additional effects like that, most sane people give up checking after the 5th piece with nothing gameplay relevant).
Background for tortoises being dogs: The devs spammed turtles all over the map but did not allow the word turtle to be used as an option for in game messages.

Everyone was only raving about that Sacred Relic Sword because it's the Elden Beast boss weapon. It's also known as the Albinauric Slayer 5000 in some circles.
Yeah, I'm not sure how effective it would be for them with smaller FP pools for actual combat, but it's basically a flawless _“screw you, I'm farming runes”_ tool if they wanted to level up really quick since they're getting such small drops of Runes 90% of the time.

Genuinely, unless you look it up, I don't know how you're supposed to know where the two medallion halves are. I found both by accident way after I'd gotten to the Grand Lift of Dectus the long way around.
the Dectus medallion is the one where the halves say where the other one is. So its not that hard to find them.
The other medallion does not say that.
Turtlepope is the bestest boy. I havent done it myself cause I would rather die myself IRL than kill that character in game, but if you kill him, he will be sad, but if you try to atone it wont work, cause hes all like: theres nothing to forgive.

Helmets are the only armour item that modify stats as far as I'm aware

If you want to feel tougher, consider buffing your vigor to at least 40

I typically don’t backseat game bc I enjoy the chaos but you guys are getting one-shot by stuff bc when it’s time to level you put most into arcane or strength. Spread your stats a little so you don’t become glass cannons, a little vigor never hurt anybody.

Seriously guys, I don't know why I have to keep commenting this on Tom's videos. Idk if it's a Tom decision or a Josh decision but can we _Please_ actually show the build-making parts? What are they spending theit souls on? What gear are they equipping?! It's seriously half the fun of these games and I genuinely don't understand why you don't include it. It would take _a second_ to show the levels. Literally just show a second or even a fraction of a second of each part.
