I so wanted to talk about that and the sex sells crap I see so many other channels use to lure people in. God forbid I make a living this way and not stoop to that level.

Andrew, I’ve been with you almost from the beginning. I’m a 70 year old lady who doesn’t build houses, plant gardens, deal with rural internet, or build ice makers. But I watch almost all your videos because I’m amazed and impressed by your intelligence, hard work and honesty. I know you’ll do your best to make great videos because you’re a driven individual! You were born to be successful and a leader who does what needs to be done to reach your goals by your morale code. I approve your morale code and appreciate the kind of person you are. Why else would an old 70 year old woman look forward to seeing what you’re coming up with next? I hope I live long enough to see what you’ll come up with once your property is in the finished stage! I think that no matter how much you try to educate the lions share of the public, there are always going to be those who are critical of what you do
Fortunately for me with my channel , there have only been a select few that have been critical. Having said that, they have only found two things to be critical about. Everything I say and everything I do.
I have never unsubscribed from any channel. Not one. There are some that I don’t follow anymore, but I still stay subscribed.
There is one channel that I am subscribed to that I actually saw the content creator on video, damage someone else’s property, and joke about not telling anyone. The amount of comments that came flooding in, in support of this behavior was astonishing to me. Accidents happen. We are all human. But at least be responsible enough to own up to them when they do.
I came very
close to unsubscribing to that channel but my personal commitment to never doing that is what stopped me.

It's really YOUR decision on how to spend your time, actually you're working for the advertisers, and they get a much better deal than they would if they wanted to advertise on national / global media

I'll say that I've thoroughly enjoyed all your videos. With as much work as I know you put into producing a quality video you should be compensated. That may come in the format of a check or a product that you've tested. Either way I'm personally fine with.
