you can set a minimum GPU for those who would like to start following the tutorial, it would be very sad to start the class and then see that the video card can't handle it...
your website is bugged, I cannot download assets. It says "Purchase Didn't Go Through", even after applying the coupon code.
@m o t i how to turn off lumen bro?
@m o t i ok I will try it later, Tks brother
Crazy we live in a world where people spend time sharing valuable knowledge for free.
It's always be been the case no? Just differently. These guys sharing for free are awesome!
Because it's the best way to promote paid videos
Well theres ad revenue but yea
still people voting Republicans....strange dump world
and a world where blizzard fires 800 ppl and pays the ceo 13 million dollars.... we get all the extremes ....good and horrific
Are you an angel? Why would give this away for free. There are far worse paid courses floating around. God bless you man. Thanks. 😊
That what I want to say!!!
Best UE5 course till now
That's what real hero do.
There are worse degree programs. Accredited ones. (A bit unfair I guess since Game Design degrees touch on a ton of topics and the actual hands-on in-engine time isn't the majority due to classes on game theory, balancing, etc...but still).
Man just wants to see people make 🔥games
Inspiring a generation of game developers my dude. This video alone will probably birth a game developer that will create a mindblowing game for us 15-20 years down the line.
Yea, that guy!

Definitely sooner than that
I am on it as we speak.
To anyone else struggling to migrate the Medieval map because UE5 freezes after you confirm the Asset Report (3:24:35) - you need to scroll all the way down and untick the last few items that aren't attached to "Game" (Niagara/ etc). These are the same items listed in the subsequent dialog you're getting that isn't in this video. Uncheck them and UE won't ask you about them, the map will be migrated, and you'll be all set. At least that's what did it for me after ~2 hours of trying.
Alternatively, you can migrate the specific assets used in this tutorial, and/or find suitable props via Quixel Bridge. A bit more work, but less time spent waiting, and a tidier project.
Also, "duplicate" is now Ctrl+D (not +W like in UE4/5.0EA).
To Sensei: arigato gozaimasu! You made my Sunday and probably kickstarted a new personal project. Incredible work!
And if you're annoyed by the BP_TimeOFDay compilation error (and/or want the time of day to progress as intended), you can replace the deprecated FogInscatteringColor node with LinearColorBlack (or something smarter, but this seems to work).
Ah! I indeed had this problem, arigato! To both you and the Sensei!
Thank you good sir! ive been struggling with this all day and thought id check the comments. and you were there like a beacon of hope! lol
Perfection! So glad you commented on both copy and migrate. Also I had trouble opening the map in the tutorial project. Opening a separate texture window so it could compile the shaders in the background helped.
i knew i should've checked the comments! i managed to figure out that i had 10gb less virtual ram than my actual physical ram , so i increased that hella and was able to migrate them because of my page file size
So you just give us a entire college semester in one video for free? Rad dude
Exactly what I was thinking... Last semester two weeks was just learning how to create materials in UE4

This has been SO helpful. I have never touched unreal but I stumbled on this video and it made me download it and follow along. You are so good at explaining things to people (like me) who have NO idea what they are doing. Thank you times a million. I have discovered a new hobby I never thought I would enjoy!
I just want to say... I followed every step in this tutorial and I was able to completely copy everything you did on my first day! I retained probably 40% of everything so I will be going back and following along to this tutorial as well as more detailed ones in the future. THANK YOU FOR THIS KNOWLEDGE!!
What is more amazing than 5 hours of free high quality content is that he didn't even place a single ad between the video! What a hero
dont worry CZcams is gonna do that soon or later
if it has enough view youtube will make sure of it. it's not up to him to place ads in his videos lol.
@Len Brown I think he should add ads. A few 5 second pauses wouldn't hurt anybody.
CZcams will ruin that...
A 6 hour long video!
Crazy how this is all free and he didn't put a single ad in between!
Not to mention that he covered basically everything. Truly a Sensei.
I mean the video is like an ad for me it says 1 out of 2 ads and wait till the ad is done to go into the video long ad right
Yeah but any ads are all at the start or end. He didn't put a single one in the 5 hour length of the video.
Or there can be ads when you open it again
@@JustSomeBricks ye i know its a glitch i have i was joking about it

I started watching the official Unreal Engine Guided Tour and couldn't stop yelling at the screen. The guy was going so fast and referencing UI elements that I had no idea where they were or what they were. I knew I wasn't learning anything. I clicked on this video next and WOW. This is incredible. Subscribed for sure. Thanks.
If you learn blender before Unreal you know there's a guy named blender guru who did a really good tutorial that you can't find anywhere else in the community. Same with this guy, he's the real definition of gem. Thanks for the tutorial Sensei!
I've been sending this to anyone who asks any questions about UE5. 5 hours god damn lol. Amazing work

Thank you so much! 😊I already know the basics of UE4, but with UE5, its even more amazing, and your tutorial is great to follow. You are clear, patient and cover everything you could possibly need to make your own beautiful environment. I wish I found your channel before.!! 😊
This was amazing. I followed your entire tutorial, all the way to the end. It took me 3 days(probably like 16 hours of real time) and I feel like I just finished a college semester in game design. Very well made, Thank you for all of the information you're providing to noobies like myself.
Hey, can I ask you how did you open the project file that we download ? My file just ask me to open with my navigatuor for show me codesource

Agreed! 🙂🙌🏽
Sensei: "This video is pretty long"
Me looking at time: HOT DAMN, yes please.
bro I had this exact reaction
Amazing helpful tutorial. I used to leveldesign back with UE 1.5. This is insane what the editor now is capable of and i am happy to be familiar with the very basics of the engine. I can learn extremly fast with this tutorial.
I remember YEARS ago I used to love making levels for both Quake and Half Life and modding both of them. I then tried the same for Unreal and the Unreal editor and I just could not get to grips with it.
I'm now ready to retry my venture into embracing Unreal and creating some fantastic environments thanks to your tutorial.
Thank you so much for your hard work.
And so ? I started too with Valve Worldcraft/Hammer 20 years ago but Unreal is a piece of work, not really easy to get going.
UE has a node editor for materials?
Friendship ended with Unity.
Now Unreal is my new best friend
why? what does unity have???
i mean what kind of material editor does unity have
@@puroosingla7237 Nothing

I thought they had shader graph or something
I have zero desire to ever do any of this but I can't stop watching this.
looool this used to me before covid watching blender tutorials!!! dont worry one day you'll make that teenie tiny leap to just open it and move around or create a simple material nd before you know it you understand way more than the basics
Hey Sensei,
just finished my Creek. A huge thank you for this first Tutorial. The start was really hard for me, first time working with a game engine. But now, about 20 hours later, I´m actually in love with UE5. I´ve already signed up for the UE5 Masterclass and looking forward to an amazing time with your tutorials. As already said: THANK YOU, and greetings from Tyrol
This man is a actual blessing, took his time to explain and teach out of free will
Did you run into any issues installing the free assets from his website ? When i extract the zip files it comes up with internet explore and doesn't open with UE5
This is without a doubt the best, single most valuable, well thought out tutorial I've ever watched. Well worded, not too quick with the UI element references. Detailed discussion of the various ways to do something. This is the gold standard of UI/CAD/etc tutorials
It is a great tutorial though I did feel in some places he does go a bit quick and adds items or sets up certain functions you need to watch several times to catch them.
So would you recommend this video for someone who has no experience?
@@FatChickenStrip Yes this is what the video is for begginers as i am in a day i learnt a lot
