- The Stamford Plaza Melbourne, is a 5 star hotel on 111 Little Collins Street in Melbourne. In this video I will review the Stamford Plaza as well as compare it to other luxury hotels in Melbourne to see how it stands up.
The hotel has 308 rooms ranging from studio suites to Superior Queen to more luxurious Penthouse or Presidential Suite. When I had a look around for best prices, I checked the Stamford Plaza’s own website as well as comparison booking sites such as TripAdvisor, Trivago and HotelsCombined. The Stamford’s website offers more package deals. In this video I reviewed the Superior queen room and the 1 bedroom suite room. Rooms come with free Wi-Fi. I included a copy of the in room dining menu in the video but you can also check online on their website.
Facilities at the Stamford Plaza Melbourne included a gym, swimming pool and sauna. They also have Harry’s Restaurant for some nice meals. They specialise in some Singaporean dishes. For breakfast you can enjoy their buffet. Harry’s Bar is a great place for drinks.
For me I found the Stamford Plaza Melbourne in a great location, handy to some of Melbourne’s top attractions and things to do (and that includes shopping and dining). Overall I found the rooms a little disappointing for a 5 star hotel. See the video for more details.

On the lower end of 5 stars, probably more high 4 stars. . I'd question if its worth the price, as the reviewer said, mediocre if this is so called 5 stars.

That is a very tiny sauna for being a 4.1 star hotel.
