Chickpea Flour Omelet | NO OIL

  • IMPORTANT TIP: The ratio of water should be equal to the amount of chickpea flour plus the nutritional yeast. I am heavy-handed with nooch. Use less or omit if you do not like it and simply add more chickpea flour.
    Today, I wanted to see if the trick of putting rice papar in the pan actually worked. I know many prefer not to use oil, so with my no longer non-stick pan, I gave it a shot!
    Here is the basic recipe. I really don't measure, and I need to start for YOU.
    *Chickpea flour, 1/2 c
    *Nutritional yeast, 1/4 c (more or less to thicken or thin)
    *Watwr, 3/4 c
    *Herbs: fresh or dried: garlic, italian seasoning, onion powder, salt and pepper
    *Kale, any veggies you like
    *Cheez of choice, I used italian
    *Rice paper, round
    Simply mix altogether. Adjust for seasoning. Let sit about 10 minutes and then either add water or more chickpea flour if it is too thin or thick. Heat up a fry pan at medium-high, add rice paper round. Add batter and spread. Put on a lid and turn to medium low. Check about 4-5 minutes. When the top has that dry look, flip. Let cook 2-3 minutes. Add cheese and toppings. Let melt and flip. Enjoy and make that your own.
