Eyal Weizman ……. A brilliant intellectual ….. The bedouin argument particularly poignant. I was raised on a farm during the worst years of Apartheid…… granddaughter of Ashkenazic Lithuanians. My periodic incarcerations in protest were miniscule compared to Denis Goldberg et al. Thank you Tariq Ali for introducing this remarkable young man. Miss Jenny

Ali thinks Israel could go on to be the most successful colonisation in history!? How so??? The U.S.?? Canada?? Australia??? Not sure by what measure he gauges success, but Israel the piranha state in the world stage seems a strange choice.

It's always amusing, in a dark way, to see people who will accuse those with whom they disagree of racism, or homophobia, or Islamophobia, the list is now long, but then are utterly dismissive of anti-semitism. While Israel uses that charge as a weapon, they are doing so in the same way that those who now despise them, and the United States, and Western Civilization in general, use these buzz words -- "racist" the most common, and consequently the most without meaning due to its indiscriminate use.
This video is now four years old, and BDS has been a signal failure, though yes, it is seen as a threat by Israel, which due to its position as a small nation surrounded by hostile neighbors (like Iran, Syria, etc. plus now major leftist political parties in Europe). Israel has continued to prosper, it has now made peace with Arab nations in the Persian Gulf along with Egypt and Jordan, and has an immensely strong economy. The Palestinians have now rejected another peace proposal, without even discussing it, or reacting rationally to it (the one from last year -- 2019), and their leadership seems comfortable with the way things are. The two-state solution is largely dead, and the only solution is likely some sort of partition of the West Bank between Israel and Jordan, plus an semi-autonomous status for Gaza, connected with Egypt or a multi-national international consortium of nations, and perhaps full independence as a Gazan mini-state.

Well let's see you use the same language for the Ukrainian why do the west supply them weapons. Instead of asking them to negotiate why don't you now say that Ukranian should accept the Russian authority over their land

I love the way you solve the problem by sitting alone or with a stupid cat maybe. The arrogance of Zionists will tumble them head first into the abyss of humanity never to rise again. You were given a chance because you cried on the shoulders of the West and you begged. They must have enjoyed to see you as jabotinsky said "yids" no matter how much you try, and must have laughed loud and sonorously, and had not helped you but seized the opportunity to use and abuse you by giving you a land so vital for their interests not yours in the least.
