    Anselm , you might be named Daot but definitely you're not it.
    You have survived and thrived and I'm proud of you. Keep doing what you're doing. You're a natural as a Vlogger, and possibly as a documentarist.
    Your bike should be named "Journee".

    I was thinking you would visit the Kadayawan Festival and the tribal village itself. Thanks for featuring the different tribes in Davao and their crafts. So, it’s unfortunate this year has no parade😔 but glad the LGU pursued the festival. Nice bike you got Kumander, can’t wait to see you and Kulas have a joint road adventure. Be sure you’ll be wearing the proper gear for safety.

    Hi Anelm , The Kadayawan Festival Village is a place everyone should visit and support , these tribal customs are still in full practice today and forever , and yes the colours and weeved paterns are wonderful amazing craftmanship and such humble and traditional persons of the tribes . Fantastic video showing again the real Philippines and it's peoples .

    Thanks, Kumander. This video went a long way towards dispelling many negative feelings people often carry about the various Moro tribes in Mindanao. That new bike looks fearsome, but it will look like a friendlier beast when you add the pasalubong carrier box to the back. (You always arrive places bearing gifts).

    I hear you on the fuel costs, but I'm curious as to your thoughts when it comes to EV/hybrids - definitely leaning towards those in the long term, as the people I follow are not optimistic about crude oil prices towards the end of the year. Have fun with the bike! (Tbh, long-term - if and when things go well for me - I plan on moving me and the wife to Mindanao. Cheaper cost of living, plus more green spaces, for a similar level of accessibility? Yes please.)

    • @jy.creator
      @jy.creator Před 2 lety

      @@ziggarillo Well, I would say that there is some fledgling support for EVs, at least in Metro Manila (although I will acknowledge that it could be much, much better - and that my description is quite charitable, at best). But, I'm of the opinion that with the world as it is, a repeat of the high pump prices we had earlier this year is likely in the near future.
      And yes, they do run on fossil fuel, but until the government decides to make EVs for attractive for consumers, hybrids will definitely have a presence (especially with the Chinese car models that are gaining an audience here).
