With Teo, it's not REALLY that he fights down to the level of his opposition. He just has trouble with crafty boxers and with high-output guys. Sandor Martin, for example, isn't down at some lower level. He's a smart, cagey boxer who darts in at odd angles and levels, catches you with (low-power, sure, but) quick, sharp, strange combinations, then makes sneaky exits. Devin Haney's not ONLY going on hiatus because of Ryan-Garcia-related issues. He'd have trouble with Martin, too.

Your own argument is silly because there used to be FAR LESS weight classes. So there was always +20lbs differences between some fighters in Boxing. The rules are if you can make weight you in the right class.
Loma was larger than everybody here fought at the smaller divisions. That’s not an opinion. You’re selectively complaining about fighters cutting into smaller classes, well that applies to Loma as well. He’s in his appropriate size NOW. You’re pretending as if fighters at 135 are coming in 10 lbs bigger than loma. They aren’t.
Tank is a small statured dude and 135 is his third weight class. So if your excuse was that loma should’ve stayed at smaller divisions, than you should’ve made that excuse for Tank seeing as he’s smaller than loma.
Floyd was legitimately fighting above his weight class. Dudes were coming in 15 to 20lbs bigger than him on fight night. Floyd NEVER complained. He just won. Why? Because Floyd’s said it himself, weight differences have been in Boxing since the beginning.

A good fighter would’ve stopped Clagget. I watched Floyd completely dominate and stop Gatti at 140. Gatti was the champion. Floyd was moving UP into that division as the smaller man.
Why’s that comparison important? Because Gatti, the champion, was a vastly more polished version of the style Clagget used + actually had knockout power.
Floyd brutally beat him down. THAT’S what a good fighter does.
Tank showed that against Frank Martin a few weeks ago, who is also a tremendously better fighter than Clagget.
Teo struggled against a guy he had every advantage over from power to athleticism to speed to champion level experience and more.
Tank isn’t ever going to struggle against subpar competition like that. Floyd never ever ever did.
Crawford never has. That’s what being a good fighter looks like.
Teo is an ok fighter. With a lot of strategic match making protecting his record. Beating Loma is a good win but that also made it clear to fanboys that they were far overhyping loma. He was never as good as fanboys pushed him to be. And for anyone reading who forgot- they (media/fanboys) said loma was better than FLOYD and the greatest Boxer EVER for several years. Until Teo. That is what made loma a hype job. He was always noticeably beatable. He just had a size advantage at lower divisions with not much elite competition at the lower divisions. Against skilled fighters his own size loma has constantly struggled to separate himself.

Teofimo has a bad habit of fighting to the level of his competition. If Teo is fighting an elite fighter, he'll put on an elite performance. If the opponent is C-level, then Teo will put on a C-level performance. Teofimo is good but extremely inconsistent. With that said, I'll give Teo a chance to beat anyone; however, I would also give anyone a chance to beat Teo due to his inconsistency.
