The new pedersen rifle honestly would’ve been much more tolerable as a free DLC weapon than a paid dlc weapon. There’s just nothing about new rifle that’s worth writing home about that make it worthy of being a paid DLC weapon.

A nicely balanced review of the DLC pack, that I won’t bother buying. Also since that download for the DLC and Mosin buff, there’s a glitch in the “Rough Landing” game, where you just see the Nazis heads running around! The bodies as invisible, but if you shoot at where the body mass should be you get the hit! 😂
The floating officer's head is hilarious 😂
I had this while playing earlier. Once I shot him just his head was laying on the ground with a strange back silhouette where his body should have been. Spooky as. 😂😂😂
I get that Monika is supposed to be the female equivalent of Karl but I honestly wouldn’t be mad if they gave us a harry hawker skin, maybe give him a urban ghillie suit similar to the one from se4.
Also I think we have enough novelty weapons and skins in the game now and rebellion needs to focus on putting weapons in the game that are actually worth picking and skins for them that are actually camouflage and not bright colours.
I noticed the Lee No. 4 can go to NEGATIVE aim stability! Is this better or worse than 0? HOW HAS NOBODY ELSE POSTED THIS QUESTION ANYWHERE ELSE?!
From my experience negative stability is worse.

Yeah, but that's with a cabine barrel, I'm assuming? I see the Lee Enfield fairly regularly, and never noticed it was possible. Would you really want a carbine bolt action in this game?
Anything below 10cm doesn't really give any added benefit anyway, if you're shooting crouched or prone.

Aside from a few minor differences, the Pedersen just seems to do what the M1 Carbine does, but with iron sights only.
So... Now we know why Rebellion never let us remove the scope from the M1.
Personally, I couldn't give a hoot about the Garand. We've seen it in every WW2 game under the sun, so I don't mind something different. Just wish they'd gone with something a bit more interesting.

Since the last download I keep getting killed in really strange ways. Playing no cross multiplayer today and 3 times I was killed through walls. I mean through solid walls to the side of me. Is this a multi platform aim bot cheat thing or some glitchy wall issue?
Wish they would've fixed the satchel charge not unlocking after nearly a year, but screw anyone affected by that bug, buy more DLC!
Wow…..snipers wearing bomber jackets and button down shirts with ties and RAF flying suits with parachutes. And old obsolete rifles from the 20’s that had a grand total of maybe 200 manufactured. I’m hoping the next new skins will be a clown suit and a Brown Bess musket. The new name for this game should be “Whatever Makes Rebellion A Buck” Elite
Remember Valentine's Day ? They gave us a pink pistol skin and gaslighted us by saying it's what we were asking for .I think they wanna be like Fortnite
I dont mind the character skins so long as we are getting various legit WW2 uniforms.
Like to see more invasion mode skins

Hello and I don’t even have sniper elite games yet but I definitely want one, I’ve been just wondering how do seasons work in this game?
Each season pass is basically just a pack that contains 4 DLC packs. If you buy season pass 1 you will get 4 packs immediately. We are currently only half way through season pass 2 so if you buy that you will get the 2 newest DLC packs that have been released, with a further 2 packs to be released in the next couple months. We dont know if there will be a season 3 yet, but its pretty likely. Make sure you google to see the complete list of content each pack contains.

Today I bought this dlc for 10 euros mainly because of the Pedersen rifle. Unfortunately, I only found out later that it is iron sight only. So be it. It's fine up close. But that's all.

Yeah, without dead zone adjustment the iron sites are way too hard to use.
At the Atlantic wall, you can start at a south easterly way point. There's a padlocked door, and on the map looks to be a whole peninsula area to explore. Is there a way to get there?
You mean the gate after you spawn at the interrogation block, go out the door, up the hill, down the slope and its up ahead on the left hand side? That gate?

@@thrashingflood4841 Yeah thats the very first area you go to after leaving the submarine deck 🤣 The area you see behind the gate is the same area just before opening the door to meet Charlie.

Honestly very hard to go back to for with how fantastic this game looks and smoothness. Needs more multiplayer maps though. The Dam was a amazing addition! Haven't gotten to this new single player map and to scares to watch you play it. Want to go in fresh. Any ways thank you.
Next DLC is the M3 Grease Gun and from the looks of it the Type 99 Arisaka, not a M1 Garand in sight. 😢
I feel like sesson pass quality is very bad ,they add wepons most ppl will never use,only good part is mosin buff like most rifles shine with natch ammo
This really doesn‘t seem like It‘s worth it for me. Also, a thing I need to get off My chest is That I hate how they show stuff in trailers, that are missing in the Game. I feel like often Times Its Enemy placement, snipers That appear in the Trailer, dont appear in the Game for example. Sad to think about it, they did that since launch. In the first gameplay Trailer you could See melee takedown animations that are Not in the game, which sucks if you are like me stealthing and knifing your enemies - the takedowns we do have get Old really fast. Als in the early mocap Trailer there seems to be footage of a Byonett-kill from behind, which is not in the Game…

So you were able to launch? I tried yesterday and hit the Vulcan crash every time
Yeah just have to keep trying, was using DX12 not Vulcan though.
@@BrutalBarracuda might have to force the DX12 with a launch option I saw...what a mess :(
yesterday when I was playing multiplayer mode and I saw a level 27 player using the GHILLIE SUIT character .. doesn't the GHILLIE SUIT SNIPER character need to reach level 50? astonished.......
It depends which ghillie suit it was. There is one you can buy in the Concealed Target DLC pack.
Front sight on the rifle is too wide. Would have been nice to see a few scope options. I'm not happy with the purchase
Agreed, sight is far too wide.
I care nothing about skins and rarely find value in the added weapons. It's the missions that keep me buying DLC. I'd probably buy a new $10 mission DLC every week until SE6 was released if they'd make them.
In my opinion, the Pederson excels in the survival modes where quick aiming and high firing rate at near targets is more important than precision shooting. It's not the best rifle, but if I had 30 guys advancing on my position at less than 100M, I'd want to be able to acquire and engage targets quickly rather than focusing on accuracy. The Army teaches center mass aiming because a hit anywhere will likely stop a combatant.
Looks like the petersen got the best Iron sightseeing of all the rifles
I prefer the iron sights of the Gewehr.
If the M1 Garand ever gets added, the iron sights in my opinion would be the best. Just saying.
I thought this game was called SNIPER Elite and not Commando Elite. Where's the different type of WW2 sniper skins? Where's the different rifle wraps. What are you doing Rebellion?
Can't find the new map or the Dam, complete waste of money for a rifle I will never use
The Dam map is No Cross multiplayer only and was free to everyone as part of an update. The map isnt a part of this pack.
I bought it, then realized its not new campaign ... so I ask for refund. I'm not big fans of skins, so this DLC clearly not for me.

WTF is going on? How does a developer get to the point where they just persist with doing exactly what their fans keep telling them they don’t want? You’ve stuck with SE5 for the full year+ it’s been out despite the myriad problems, and you’ve supported them by buying the season passes in good faith, and this is what they come up with? It’s inexplicable. Your reward for still being here and still playing is a pointless irrelevant rifle and another horrific licorice allsorts weapon skin that no one will ever use.
Whoopee.
SE4 rewarded its hardcore fans with DLC that just oozed ever increasing excellence, culminating in one of the best missions in the entire series, Obliteration. The DLC weapons were great and really contributed to the replayability by giving you different options to achieve the five challenges per mission. Try doing some of those challenges on Authentic! Bloody hard! If you’ve got the backstory to compare the current offerings against then it’s no wonder we’re so disappointed.
By far the biggest news from this DLC is that the accompanying patch apparently dealt to some small bugs, whilst creating much larger ones! I hope the next release video from Rebellion is a whole lot more contrite than the smug cocking around we got in the last one. It was embarrassing to watch.
I imagine the Rebellion meetings to be a bit like The Office these days! Maybe middle management juicing the stats, and droning on about encouraging metrics. Maybe Sir Jason pops his head in just once a month, while dressed in full armour, on the way to another medieval re-enactment... 😆
