14:45 I had my first ever keyhole surgery on my meniscus in 2022. I was under local anaesthetic and honestly I was so scared but it went so well!
The recovery was speedy and I could see myself improving every week. One thing that I found difficult was learning to walk on my leg again but I knew this was going to take time.

You'll be absolutely fine! I've been under many times for operations + they put you to sleep so quick you don't even realise what's happening + when you wake up you're dazed anyway from the meds! Hope everything goes well 🤍🤍

You will be fine it is scary thinking about it but to go under is not that bad I am a teenage and have been under three times for my throat. Also acl reconstruction is huge and if you have been walking for the last two years then that is very very very unlikely. I wish you all the best of like when it eventually happens and have a great trip in Dubi.

Had my ACL reconstructed about 2 years ago via a tibia graft (or whatever it was) it’s bloody painful and a very slow recovery but if you keep strong and stick to the plan/physio you’ll be completely fine. This time next year you’ll be near normal! I still can’t kneel on it and I have an 8 month old I can’t change on the floor unless I sit down, but you have to take the positives with the negatives.. it’ll be worth it in the end.

Good luck with your surgery, I do sports therapy at uni so I find it interesting knowing the surgery. If they have said that your ACL has healed a lot naturally since it happened it is more likely to be option 1 or 2, if it is option 2 it may take longer to build up strength but you need your meniscus to ensure the bones and ligaments stay in the right places.
I’d love a bit of both loved watching your old videos and I love your family videos now too.

More family vlogs please ❤ they don’t tell you a date at pre op. It could be ages after that when you have a date, with mine, 6 months went by, so at that point, they need to repeat it and I had to have another pre op done in February , and now waiting for a date after the second pre op, been on the list a year so far. So hopefully you’ll be ok for your hols. Mine isn’t knee surgery, but I’ve had many operations so with each one, I’m less worried about going under, it’s just the recovery and pain after. I had both feet operated on (at the same time) about 5 years ago, it was a nightmare trying to get about, I literally couldn’t do anything x

i had meniscal surgery may last year, the whole process isn’t as scary as it seems, the painkillers they give you help so much, physio will help with gaining basic skills back , best of luck brandonio 😊x

Hey, would love to see more family videos, and challenges like outfits or stuff for Rome, but happy to watch whatever you feel like filming, sorry to hear you need surgery on your knee, hope it goes well, it is scary but you'll be absolutely fine, I've had a few minor surgeries and I always get scared even though I've done it before, I'm not a huge fan of hospital either.
Rome is changing so much, he's really bright and happy bless him. Your both amazing parents

My partner recently had ACL reconstruction surgery and he was in a lot of pain he said it was a bit worse than when he did the injury, but totally worth it. Best of luck and hope it all goes smoothly! ❤
I know it’s not the same body part, but I have a similar issue, I have dislocated my shoulder about 10 times, and the NHS wanted it to heal itself, it hasn’t and has healed in the wrong place, so I also have to have surgery which I’m so scared about mine would also be keyhole and very similar but in my shoulder, I’ve been waiting since 2018 for this. Hopefully you get your surgery quickly 🫶🏻
I had a full left knee reconstruction I’m a first time mum to twins, I’m off my feet for 6 weeks unfortunately dads not as supportive as you are to Erin (she’s so lucky) but I’d say get it done whichever route you need to go down cos then you will be able to run and play with Rome when he’s older (pain free)
Never really comment but I have key hole surgery in September for my acl and the advice I can give you is to start physio as soon as possible as I started it too late and from where I hadn’t moved my leg a lot of scar tissue built up which made it more stiff and in need of another surgery!! Recovery does seem long but it flies by😅😅
Please do trying wired food combos / pregnancy cravings the wild ones 😂

As someone who has had 8 knee surgeries on my knee due to football, you will be absolutely fine! Ive had keyhole, ligament replacement… everything apart from a full knee replacement which i may have to have, if you need advice im here! Hope all goes well and you have the best recovery

I had exactly the same 3 weeks ago I had the clear out Iv already had a transplant on it but it never worked so I’m in n out for clear outs every12-18 months so my next step is knee cap replacement I have a bone disease in my knee so my surgery 3 weeks ago he told me it was riddled in arthritis so back in may to see consultant good luck hope it’s just a clear out ❤❤xx

Good luck with your operation I had a key hole surgery think mine was the 6 weeks one then back up on your feet it wasn’t too bad only thing was the not being able to walk or do much for the first 6 weeks I had mine in 2020 I was really scared before hand but after the operation I didn’t even realised it had been done when I woke up I asked when they was doing it and it had already been done 😂 I can say you might be very out of it when you wake up
Dude I am seeing a specialist for my knee in two weeks… I have bone spurs at the back of my knee cap from a bus accident 5 years ago.. I’m terrified of the recovery process too… they have already said something about clearing out debris.. I can only imagine an ACL injury.

Hi Brandon I have literally just had key hole surgery on my knee, they thought I had a cyst which was cancerous luckily it wasn’t. But I was so scared before hand I think it was more not pulling through but I am here to tell the tale. I was up and walking the same day and slight aching it was just of a night having to lay in the same position all night. I am currently having physio so Strengthen the muscle. It’s not that bad you will be fine thinking of you
You should do a outfit challenge but for Rome but you Erin and holly do it also good luck for your surgery ❤

My sister had ACL surgery just before covid and they kept her awake she just had some sort of epidural! She did it almost two years previous when she broke her femur playing netball. Her recovery wasn’t bad, Hope everything goes well for you!
I always find mini stuff for holiday is sooo expensive for no reason. So get travel bottles and pour your normal stuff into them where you can and leave in a plastic bag. But also at christmas when i went on holiday i did click and collect for full size toiletries at the airport, so you collect once youve gone theough security 😏 you get to use any deals online etc and youre not paying extra for less. So for two of us i spent £40- it would have cost more in minis. I just forgot mouthwash and they sold that at the resort for €4 :)
