- The Anakeesta Mountaintop Adventure Park was the BEST THING WE DID in the Gatlinburg/Sevierville/Pigeon Forge area,......BY FAR. This park has something for everyone, and is setup to walk you thru the park without a lot of back and forth chris crossing! Many things for kids, yet a very calming and sane atmosphere for adults.
Sue & I paid the additional cost and stayed for the Astra Lumina Show in the evening, and we have to say it was simply magical. The music, forest setting, fogging and presentation was a romantic, eye popping stroll thru nature. Our iPhone 14 could only capture so much! You need to go to this to immerse yourself in this sensory overload adventure for yourself!

In the touristy, congested areas of the Blue Ridge Mountains/Parkway, your lens surly captured not only the rolling green landscape before beautiful fall foliage appears, but the subtle shimmers of colors at lens eye and along the ground. It's amazing how a little altitude can totally change ones perspective - among the trees, a birds eye view of forest floor below - how beautiful it can be. Safe travels my fiends!
Yes, you are right again Adam, as usual. On this particular day, I was having one of my "Glad to be alive, retired and with Sue RVing Days". The setting, weather and venue was simply perfect for that to play out more intensely than most days, and that is why this days adventure was so romantic for me,.......and us.

Let him take the Ski Lift, and you take the Rambler up. Go have the Oatmeal Cookie Dough Ice Cream,.......hit the restroom,............and he will finally arrive at the top! We LOVED this experience,........it was the best thing we did in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, hands down.

I would be scared to to ride the gondola. I’m not a fan of heights. I got stuck on a ferry’s wheel once. I was petrified. Ever since then I was afraid of ferry’s wheels and heights. This place is amazing. Including Astra Lumina. What a great park. Thank you for taking me along on this trip to this park. I enjoyed it. Come on! The Walgreens "Diabetic Socks" with NO ELASTIC aren't that un-stylish! If I use regular socks, I get 1/2" deep dents in my ankles!

I loved this video. Thank you for educating us on this place. I noticed you use your phones to video. Do you use iMovie to edit or something else?
We started with iMovie and is an awesome way to start and learn. It is way more than you need most times. After you master it, then "Graduate" to Final Cut Pro, which is 500 times more powerful than we need. My iphone10 needs to be replaced, but our repairs put that on hold.
