Keegan's comment was the BEST. This was so powerful just watching it. I cannot imagine seeing it in person. The whole thing was great but a few of these shots were master class.

Thank you for sharing this fantastic experience!! I am unable to enjoy events like this(including Trans-Siberia Orchestra) because my system can not handle the flashing lights, strobes, etc. It did look beautiful. Btw, you should clip Keegan's laugh with Dustin's "Wow!" ;)

I can imagine how beautiful it was ti be immersed in the music and surrounded by the lights! Going to have to check it out. What is the safety level for klutzes, it is so dark, are there any steep parts or tricky paths? Asking for a klutzy friend-lol

Price for admission and the Astra lumina experience is right at $50.00. if you show up at night you get in the next day with that admission as well. We really do appreciate you joining us!

Hey im curious as to what you used to record this with such a low light setting
Would you believe all of this footage was taken with an iPhone? It was. Edited on Davinchi Resolve. We want to do it again with our Canon R5 and see how it turns out. Thanks so much for watching.
@@SmokyMountainFamily that's awesome. I plan on using a GoPro 11 when I visit soon! I'm just learning DaVinci Resolve! I'm new this but I plan on putting out some awesome content in the future!
@@prettyrickee80 If you have a good phone I would definitely use it in lieu of the GoPro. GoPros struggle in low light. Just shot it again with the Canon R5. Dropping it in a couple days.
@@SmokyMountainFamily yea I was reading about that and found some CZcams vid to help in low light settings and im going to try it out. Will be using by phone as well as a back up. Thanks for the advice bro! Looking forward to the next vid!
@@prettyrickee80 You probably already know this but the lower the frame rate the better for low-light situations. normally 24 or 30fps. The color tab in Resolve can also help. If you want, you can email us, and I can give you some details on what I do in the color tab to help. I don't know much but I'll share what I know.
Planning to go to Gatlinburg in a few months and have been to Anakeesta before. I ride the bus up to it and don't do the chair lifts. I am deathly afraid of heights. Hard to tell, is this on the ground paths at Anakeesta or is this out on the walking bridges where you are high above the ground? If it is the latter, I will have to pass I am afraid to walk on them even in the day time let alone in the dark. But I enjoy the scenic views of the area from up there. Hope someone can answer my question.

Astra Lumina will be a permanent fixture at Anakeesta. However it will shut down each January and February and reopen each March. Thanks so much for watching!

Why advertise something that's completely sold out? You cannot get in. We based our entire 40th wedding anniversary trip around this place, even booking more days so we could do this and were turned away. When we complained we were met with "So what? We don't really know what we are doing but it's for sure going to be your loss, not ours". Cringe.
Hate to hear this about your anniversary. Not for sure if you are asking us why we featured this on our channel or why Anakeesta is advertising it? The reason we put it in our channel the same reason we feature anything on our channel- it’s an experience we had in the smokies and we document such experiences. Unfortunately, we have no knowledge of Anakeesta’s ticket sales. At any rate, we hope you still enjoyed your time in the Smokies! Thanks for watching.

Love your content!! We did enjoy our stay in spite of missing Anakeesta, we spent 7 glorious days, mostly in the park!
