Jay did a tune for my 16 what a difference he also did a trans tune for it I gained a half second in the 1/4 mile

@@caseyschmidt6532 it's well worth it. Plus if you don't get a tuner you really don't get the right power from any mods you do.
Nice man that truck moves out. I had a '16 RCSB 4x4 and ran 14.60's stock. Did a Vararam and Greene 91 tune and went from 14.60's at 92-93 to 13.50's at 100 in pretty much the same DA (3500). Crazy to think the truck picked up 7 MPH and shaved off over a full second of e/t with 2 mods. I think with DR's and a 0 DA it would've been a high 12 second truck. Good to see content on Mopar's, most content on YT is about LSx cars/trucks and coyote's.

I have the 07 with MDS and obviously variable timing. I had an 03 hemi before no mds or vvt and it felt different. Less power and much slower. The VVT feels really good in the high rpms and I have to run 89 or high to get a stronger kick. If I run 87 it feels like it doesn't advance as quick
What were your bolt ons when you filmed this? I just ordered my pcm/trinity2 and getting jay to tune my '16 ram 5.7 with the 8 speed

Just run it until you need to upgrade the transmission thats what I did.
Ok it went out, gutting it rebuilt "stage 1 handles 450 hp"
You recommend continuing customizing it?

How come there isn't a red line on the tachs in rams.
Not sure really but stock is around 5500 and most tune and cam trucks run up to about 7k

Why did you put it on 4th gear for a pull ?

I pre ordered the 4th gear. Dosen't actually start off in 4th just won't shift past 4th unless I shift it.
Looks like you hit 60 in 5 seconds.
I just matted the pedal I'm sure it would do better if I rolled into it.
