OMG this is so cute! My husband and now 13-yr old granddaughter are what they call "puzzle buddies" and have "puzzled" since she could sit up to the table. I will surprise them with this!

That sounds a great idea! I would use some stabilizer underneath though, as you wouldn't have the thicker seam to support the tape to keep it straight.

Great video! I always wondered how to make a Jigsaw quilt. Does your needle gum up from the adhesive behind the bias binding or from the adhesive used on the tongues when you top stitch? I have this problem when I do appliqué.
It can depend on the quality of your adhesive, I don't have any problem, but I would use a little wax (that you use for hand threads) if it gets a bit sticky, especially when the needle gets to the point of needing changing. The tape I showed on the video is really nice quality, and I use fine applique backing paper. They do vary.

How big do you make the tongues
HI Myrna, Thanks for your question. The size of the tongue is on the pattern and a separate template is included for the tongue if you decide to buy the pattern.
