Praying 5 times a day can be managed by myself In Sha Allah, but the problem I am facing is praying in Jamat at the mosque. I go to the office at 7:30 am and it ends around 4:30 pm. During this time, I pray Zuhar salat & also in the nearby mosque Alhamdulillah. But after returning home I have to pray Asr at 4:45 pm (preparing for salat, going & returning total time requires 4:30 pm to 5:00 pm), Maghrib at 6:00 pm (full time required 5:45 pm to 6:30 pm), and Esha at 7:45 pm (full time required 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm) if I pray in the mosque.
But currently, I need to study straight for 4-5 hours daily to learn programming, and IT courses for my career progression. During office time it's not possible and I also can't leave my job! If I start studying at 5:00 pm after returning from Asr salat then after just 30 minutes I have to again go to the mosque for Maghrib & it takes min 30 minutes to 45 minutes to go, pray & return home! Same again I start studying at 6:30 after Maghrib I only have 1 hour to study up to 7:30 pm if I go to Esha at 7:45 pm. I return from Esha at 8:30 pm. So, up to 8:30 pm from 4:30 pm I only studied for 1:30 hours! and often it becomes difficult to get the flow back to my studies, to remember what was I studying it also takes 10-15 minutes to get the flow again! If I pray the prayers in my room then it will take only 10-15 minutes and I think I can manage it easily. Also, I can delay Esha prayer after finishing my studies as it has a longer time period to perform. I want to pray in the congregation as it's 27 times more rewarding! But I can't find out how I can manage this.
All the people around me, in my society I see they don't even pray regularly, or pray at home except Jumma prayer. They are doing really well in their career, wealth, social respect, etc. I don't see anyone around me who prays all 5 prayers in the congregation and has done excellent in worldly matters like good job/ business, or social status. Why it's so difficult to pray & maintain a good job, and career progression in the 21st century! For your information, I live in a Muslim-majority country, Bangladesh. I am really suffering from this mental issue and can't find any solution to it! It also becomes bitter when I see other people are making good money like 1.5-2 lacs a month and I am not even near them. I would request everyone to give any feasible solution so that I can pray in Jamat for 27 times more reward and also complete my studies for 4-5 hours daily!

@Zoya 11 Is Surah Al-Fatehah that is recited in all the 5 times daily prayer not about glorifying and praising God?
Ponder over the purpose and meaning of these verses:-
[1:1] In the name of GOD, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
[1:2] Praise be to GOD, Lord of the universe.
      [1:3] Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
[1:4] Master of the Day of Judgment.
[1:5] You alone we worship; You alone we ask for help.
      [1:6] Guide us in the right path;
[1:7] the path of those whom You blessed; not of those who have deserved wrath, nor of the strayers.
Also ponder over the meanings of these verses that are also recited during the 5x daily prayer:-
      Subhanallah...Alhamdulillah.....Allahuakbar...

      Salāmun 'alaykum, brother!
I have been a Qur'ānist from April 27th, up to this point. My attention was brought to Qur'ān 62:9, where it mentions the Call to Prayer for Friday Congregation. Now, the only place we can refer to this, is the Sunnah of the Prophet (AS). Furthermore, when I took a closer look at the Contact Prayers, I did find all five in Qur'ān. This took me a few hours to understand LOL! The key is to remember that in the Middle East, sunset begins an actual day (or you will come out with 3,4, or 6 prayers all the time trying to match the descriptions with time frames). Realizing this, then "Salāt ul-Wusta" cannot be noontime, if the Sunset Prayer is technically first in line. Another definition for "wusta" is "best" or "greatest":
Be ever mindful of prayers, and of praying in the MOST EXCELLENT way; and stand before God in devout obedience. (Qur'ān 2:238 - Asad)
So, beginning with the Sunset Prayer:
      1. Salāt ul-Maghrib (11:114): "At the beginning of the day."
      2. Salāt ul-'Ishā' (17:78, 24:58): "Rise from thy sleep" + "After the prayer of nightfall."
      3. Salāt ul-Fajr (17:78, 24:58) "Recitation at dawn." + "Before the prayer of daybreak."
      4. Salāt ul-Zhur (17:78) "When the sun passes its zenith."
      5. Salāt ul-Asr (11:114) "At the end of the day."
Here, the term "wusta" fulfills its complete meaning: Recitation at Dawn (Middle Prayer) is the greatest and most important of prayers. The Holy Qur'ān (17:78) states, "All that is holy is a witness to it." I hope this further clarifies the Contact Prayers for you, dear brother. The video was a bit confusing for me as well.
      Jazāka -llāhu khayran!

"So be patient over what they say and exalt [ Allah ] with praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting; and during periods of the night [exalt Him] and at the ends of the day, that you may be satisfied."
      Sura Ta-Ha verse 130
Here, it's said to pray before the rising of the sun, which is the fajr prayer, then before it's setting i.e the Asr prayer. Then the periods of the nights indicate both Maghrib and Isha because the day ends when the sun sets and the night starts. As for the end of the days, it can be said it's zuhar since it's somewhat close to maghrib's time.
Since everything isn't mentioned directly in the Quran, Prophet Muhammad S.A.W clarified those things in the hadiths.
Now, here are some other verses,
Maintain with care the [obligatory] prayers and [in particular] the middle prayer and stand before Allah , devoutly obedient. -- al-Baqara 2:238
And establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of the night. Indeed, good deeds do away with misdeeds. That is a reminder for those who remember. -- Hud 11:114
O you who have believed, let those whom your right hands possess and those who have not [yet] reached puberty among you ask permission of you [before entering] at three times: before the dawn prayer and when you put aside your clothing [for rest] at noon and after the night prayer. [These are] three times of privacy for you. There is no blame upon you nor upon them beyond these [periods], for they continually circulate among you - some of you, among others. Thus does Allah make clear to you the verses; and Allah is Knowing and Wise. -- an-Nur 24:58
Verse 1 tells us that there is a middle prayer which means there are at least 3 prayers and doesn't mention the exact number of prayers.
Verse 2 tells us that during daylight (the time gap between fajr and maghrib) we have 2 prayers (duhr and a'sr) and one when the night approaches (al-Maghrib) (see also this Fatwa): With (only) this information it's still possible that we only have 3 prayers, but
Verse 3 which teaches us about the resting times mention clearly the fajr/sobh prayer and the I'sha prayer as the fajr itself is a not mentioned time in the 2 Verses before we find out we really have 5 prayers mentioned in the Quran!
Now we find we have 5 prayers or prayer times mentioned in the Quran.

“Establish the contact prayer at both ends of the day, that is, at the adjacent hours of the night…” (11:114)
Traditional translators and commentators consider the last clause (zulfan minal layl) of the verse as a separate prayer, indicating the “night” prayer. However, I do not consider this clause as an addition, but as an explanation of the previous ambiguous section. It explains the timing of the ends of the day. The boundaries of “Nahar” (daylight) are marked by two clear points. In other words, the prayers should not be performed exactly after sunrise and before sunset, but before sunrise and after sunset.
Furthermore, the traditional understanding leads to the problem of contradicting the practice of this very tradition. Traditionally, both the morning and evening prayers are performed in a period that is considered Quranically as “LaYL” (night), since the layl begins at sunset and ends at sunrise. The word “layl” in Arabic is much more comprehensive than the word “night” used in English.
If the phrase “tarafayin nahar” (both ends of the day) refers to the morning and evening prayers, which are parts of “layl” (night), then the latter part of the phrase cannot describe another prayer time.

Good question, but think about it, brother. The Quran says, "Obey your God and His Messenger." Allah Ta'ala ordered to follow the words of Muhammad ﷺ. Then the Qur'an covers the whole life of Muhammad ﷺ in one word. Now surely it can be said that the Qur'an dictates and includes the life of Muhammad ﷺ. If you want to obey the Quran then you must obey the words of Muhammad ﷺ. So there can be no reason not to call the Qur'an complete.

This liar says everything is not mentioned in the Quran. Following prophet doesnt mean we have to believe anything which is said in the name of prophet. Following Prophet meant in those times because the Prophet was not only a messenger but also a Military Commander, A Judge, Managing the Finance etc. So hence Allah said not only with respect to the Quran but you should follow Prophet in every matter in which he holds the authority. This is the reason Prophet and neither his companions never wrote a single hadith. Every hadith was written after several years after his passing away from this world. And this has led to several factions within Muslims.

The verses you recite to indicate 5 prayers a day do not indicate prayers (swalat). The verses do not even contain the word swalat. The verses are about praising Allah. The Quran ordains only three prayers. The names of three prayers are also given in the Quran.

Quran Alone.

    • @elvinuo
      @elvinuo Před rokem

The Quran speaks of three positions to be observed during the Salat, they are: Standing, Bowing and Prostrating.
The following verses confirm that the Salat starts in the standing position:
You shall maintain the Salawaat and the Salat Al-Wusta, and stand devoutly obedient before God. 2:238
O you who believe, when you get up to observe the Salat, wash ....... 5:6
So the angels called out to him while he was standing, praying in the sanctuary: "God gives you news of John, confirming a Word from God He will be honourable and celibate, as well as a prophet, from among the righteous." 3:39
And if you are among them and you lead the Salat for them, let a group of them stand with you and let them hold on to their weapons. 4:102
After the standing position comes the bowing and prostrating:
We appointed for Abraham the location of the House: "Do not associate anything with Me, and purify My House for those passing by and those standing, bowing, and prostrating." 22:26
Muhammad, the messenger of God, and those with him are stern with the disbelievers and merciful amongst one another. You see them bowing and prostrating, seeking favour from God and consent. 48:29
      The Salat ends with prostration:
Then once they have prostrated, let them be positioned behind you and let another group, who has not yet observed the Salat, observe the Salat with you while remaining cautious and while holding on to their weapons. 4:102
The words 'once they have prostrated' indicate clearly that prostration marks the end of the Salat, after which a new group comes to observe their Salat in the place of the first group. There is no mention in 4:102, or anywhere else in the Quran, that the believers should follow prostration by standing once again and repeating the cycle.
      ------------------------
These three Quranic physical movements (standing, bowing and prostrating) are not required during the times of emergencies, fear, and unusual circumstances:
If you fear, then on foot or riding. Then once you are secure, remember God as He taught you what you previously did not know. 2:239

I do have great respect for you but sir haven't you ever thought that Salah which comes 100s of times in Quran didnt say once that you have to pray this 5 times?
Allah says in Quran if you give some money write it down and make some people as witness.
Allah also says when you visit prophet's home, take permission first, on time and leave soon after eating (33:53) how minor level thing it is but ALLAH have instructed set of rules for all guests who wants to visit their host. But Salah which is a founding pillar of Islam not clear in Quran.
Quran clearly defines Inheritance rules, Divorce steps and processes , woman and Zouj rights, Justice System, economic system, everything Quran explain like a crystal and clear form but not saying anything regarding this Namaz that we are doing in the name of Salat.
if we contact Hadith then there is no clear set of instructions and hence the ummah got divided then divided in to many sects. Everyone sect quoted Hadith. There is no dispute over Quran as per my research.
This is because Hadith was collected after almost 250 years of Hijrat. Alot of thing had been happened in these 2 and half centuries. After 60 years Karbala incident had been happen. Yazid killed Hussain RA and his whole family just because to form his government and established the kingship (malookeyat). What would these people would have done to maintain their kingship ? Hadith was communicated verbally not written anywhere, When Abbasia Government was attached by Halaku Khan and all the documentation of Islamic states till the time including Court decisions, Government circulars, Islamic research work etc was wasted in the river.
Then some scholars (all from Iran, no one from Arab) started collection of Hadith and every scholar collected more than 500,000 hadith and rejected 98% hadith (on the basis of his own feelings or intellect) Every hadith we read is I heard this from my father X, my father heard this from his father Y, and He heard from his father and so on... this is 8 generations link. Can we really rely on this ? If this would be important then Prophet himself would have ordered to write. Anyway
Now come to the point of 5 tims a day pray. it comes from Hadith when Prophet PBUH visited Mairaj. Quoted below
"This is where Allah told Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) that Muslim believers were to enrol in prayers 50 times a day. The Prophet accepted the offer but as he was going back to the earth, he met Prophet Moses who advised that 50 prayers were too much for a day. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) went back to Allah and requested to reduce 50 prayers as it was too much. Allah reduced 5 prayers and made it 45 prayers a day. But according to Prophet Moses, it was still too much. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) took nine trips between Moses and Almighty Allah and after that, it was finally reduced to 5 times prayers a day. Prophet Moses continued to ask for the reduction in numbers, but Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that he was too guilt-ridden. Moreover, he is grateful for 5 prayers a day."
Now look into it, regarding whom are we talking about its ALLAH, who is perfect in everything. What type of image this hadith is delivering? Allah didnt know 50 times pray is not reasonable ? We like a man being as nothing infront of Allah, we can not give any such targets to our employees, secondly Prophet Muhammad PBUH who is Rehmat ul Alameen, he didnt know this is not reasonable ? he accepted without thinking for while. Such trips made 9 times and then when it came to a point of 5 still Musa PBUH was asking for reduction. In this whole Rivayat there is one personality that is bigger than ALLAH and Prophet PBUH that is Musa, who is prophet of Jews. The chosen one.
You're such an intellectual person, don't you try to think critically on this? Its not important if our forefathers are doing any wrong practice this is the same concern that was countered to all prophets. Dot you think we should evaluate is this Salat producing results What Allah promises in Quran ?
In Arabic the root concept of Salat is SLW (suad Laam Wow) that means creating tight and closed bonding with someone, it also calls to that 2nd number horse who is running in race closely with the 1st one. Salat is establishing of Islamic system that is given in Quran for that authorities will need to call parliamentary sessions, cabinet sessions again and again. developing rules and instructions and for every instructions or policy keeping Quranic Laws in mind and then take decisions.
This is how a state runs, this is what a prime minister or president done today. today same process is there in all Islamic countries and other countries as well but no one considers Quranic Laws otherwise no Islamic state would have been following capitalism. Islam is code of life it has to be encounter with other code of life and economic system like capitalism, socialism, etc. because believer is one who have to implement that system what Prophet Muhammad PBUH did
You can visit my channel and specially a video "Why to believe in God what is the relation of Man with God?" I hope this would be helpful, its short video, only Quranic reference is used hopefully you will find it deliverable.

Quran is sufficient but for those in doubt you have prophets examples to turn to. If this many people are confused as to whether 3 or 5x prayer is a must just turn to authentic hadith for guidance. He was sent to us to be the best of example according to Allah.
Here is what I know is:
Hanzala al-Asaydi reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever guards the five prayers, their ablution, their timing, their bowing, and their prostration, and knowing they are the right of Allah over him, then Allah will forbid him from entering Hellfire.”
    Source: Musnad Aḥmad 17882
Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Mundhiri
This is Sahih Hadith! If you're unaware as to what this means you must research it.
Therefore, I arrive to conclusion that to follow the best of all Muslims, Muhammad PBUH, I must pray 5 times per day.

In a video on YT, Someone asked this guy that according to Quran the earth is like a cradle, carpet or a flat floor, and the best explanation or interpretation of the verse about the shape of the earth he came up with is :
"the carpet can be spread out on the globe and since the the globe is too big the carpet would look like a flat surface". After this illogical explanation, and deliberate miss interpretation of the verse about the shape of the earth this guy discredited himself, he is wrongly explaining things, and the same way he is wrongly explaining what is Salat according to Quran.

      * Before Sunrise = Dawn (Subh) Prayer = 2 Rakaats
      * Before Sunset = Afternoon (Asr) Prayer = 4 Rakaats
      * During the Night = Night (Isha') Prayer = 4 Rakaats

Say, "This was revealed by the One who knows the Secret* in the heavens and the earth. He is Forgiving, Most Merciful." (25:6)
O children of Adam, when messengers come to you from among you, and recite My revelations to you, those who take heed and lead a righteous life, will have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve. (7:35)
He is the One who sent to the gentiles a messenger from among them, to recite to them His revelations, purify them, and teach them the scripture and wisdom. Before this, they had gone far astray. (62:2)

Oh hey, witty comeback. Aren't you just sharp as a marble! 'cause to you, it seems, the ambiguity of a prayer ritual's time/quantity is on the same level as ontologically confounding a monad and a triad, or worse a lack of recognition for categorical separation.
If you're going to make an effort to attack at least make your argument consistent, dimwit.

Five Namaz were imported from Zoroastrians and then were validated through forgery of Hadith of Flying Horse Buraq. That Namaz is 100% Idol Worship = Shirk in which Sunni and Shia prostrate to Kaaba which is made of Stones,
*Can you show me any verse in Quran which ordains we Muslims to prostrate to Kaaba during Salat? You cannot find. Now question is: Who were those Mushriks who blended this Namaz Pooja-Pot in Islam?*
God says, His Book is fully detailed 6:114 ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ مُفَصَّلًا , and Complete for Islam 16:89 وَنَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ تِبْيَـٰنًا لِّكُلِّ شَىْءٍ but we do not find even number of Rakat of five Namaz Pooja-Pot in Quran. The reason is: because Salat is not Namaz.
