TBH it's weird to me because Pippa IS my one actual Oshi, but I don't feel even the slightiest romantic attraction to her, meanwhile the chuubas I do feel a parasocial crush for, I find boring as entertainers and barely watch their clips.

I stayed with my grandparents quite often as a kid because my parents still had to work during my summer break. And there was this girl who was about a year older than me who spent the breaks/holidays in the town where my grandparents lived. She was very much like Pippa, but like cleaner and already clearly prettier than other girls her age. We’d hang out with the same group there and sometimes even go out on the trails together on our derby bikes, shit was fire
Unfortunately during the last summer I stayed there, she found out I kinda had a crush on her. I won’t go into detail, but in the end she sent a right hook to my jaw and yelled at me that I was a total moron who she now hated more than her biological father. We didn’t speak or see each other for six years after that

@@jj70249 The spiritual lessons and disciplinary training have proven to be highly valuable, even now. But it used to mostly be the physical aspect, because I attracted trouble like no other. I spent a lot of time physically fending off pests all throughout middle school. Then there was this incident around the time I entered high school, when me and some of my older friends got a revolver shoved in our faces by some crazy homeless guy. Then high school itself was a pretty bumpy road, with me getting into fights almost daily during my first year. But at that point I’d already started enjoying the little scuffles with other students a little too much, so eventually there was no one left who wanted to pick fights anymore
I’d get into some bar fights toward the end of high school, but nothing major has happened up until now

When I was at school I had similar problems. I dealt with them by cultivating the idea that I was violent and mentally unstable. No one wanted to be my friend and I was alone most of the time but very few people tried to bully me. And I had more time to read by myself.
Well, I don’t know, at our school everyone constantly fought, no one was afraid to smack another in the face, so no one was an outcast, and no one had problems with friends.

When I was a kid, a classmate who used to bully me got leukemia and had to stay in hospital. One day, the teacher had us all write letters to him. Most kids wrote standard "wishing you well" type shit, but I didn't like this guy and was raised in an extremely religious household, so I filled my sheet with admonishment for his wicked ways and tried to impress upon him the importance of seeking forgiveness lest he spend eternity in hell. Anyway, the kid died and I ended up getting in a lot of trouble for telling everyone that he got what he deserved and the world is a better place without him in it. I'm almost 30 now and my opinion still hasn't changed.

Didn’t have to have a survival strategy, I just gave off school shooter vibes. Like RADIATING them. Got sent to the office more than once for being sus. Didn’t even have to do much just literally sit there and I scared the bejesus out of people.
I hung out with everyone in high school. The jocks, the juggalos, the rednecks, the hip hop kids. My problem was I wanted to fit in so badly that I never cultivated my own personality. I would just passively accept anyone regardless of their flaws. Sometimes it's good to gatekeep people from you and follow your own path instead of following others.

you know I had a similar experience but it went slightly different as another kid is class sad something that shut that teacher up for good. "you better start doing your damn job or your gonna find out why so many teachers get sued." I don't know where that girl is now but she was the damn coolest person in the world to me at the time.
