Bro my ears died, I can’t even make out the words lmfao
4:55 Oh boy I’ve some facts about this one!
This isn’t actually an eas alarm, merely the jingle that used to play for a radio station that would broadcast at the time in Poland. It’s actually being played on a piano I believe, but the lower quality of radios back then made it sound like something straight from hell.
This jingle played on the radio just before they broke the news of Germany’s invasion. Scary stuff man.
I am from poland, yes i am Polish, and i 2 times in my lifetime heared this shit on the radio, i was fucking scared like srsly ☹️‼️
The Argentina one is saying “This is a National Emergency this is not a drill”
I don't know why, it fricking scared me
@@creeperzombie6996 argentinian here, we are legally classified as a "peace country", so hearing that alarm is actually terrifying, mostly because most people in here never heard it in their life, myself included.
Argentina Spanish(España)
Yo se
Emergencia nacional esto no es un simulacro esto no es un simulacro!
1:12 it's not actually broken, the alternative wail siren is supposed to sound like that. Instead of alarming the people of the tornado, it really just scares away the tornado
Actual explanation: there are a few types a sirens. One stays the same tone, another one goes from a high tone to a low tone (aaaa oooo aaaa oooo) and another one sort of winds up and then slows down (ooooaaaaAAAAaaaaooooaaaaAAAAaaaaoooo). The Chicago siren combines the high/low tone siren AND the wind up siren.
I saw it in a video if i find it again i will link it
Edit: found it czcams.com/video/nJu_pTIo6NA/video.html
Egypt: 0/10 lol
Yeah, the recording is a Federal Signal EOWS-series siren (probably a 612) sounding its Alternate Wail signal. This is a valid siren signal, but is not typically used, especially for tornado warnings. It may see occasional use in smaller towns where sirens are still used to activate fire departments
The people: what should we come up with for our alt siren?
That one person: make it sound like the creepypasta siren head!
Them: perfect.
the voice in the Egypt one genuinly scares the shit out of me. not because it's frightening, but because of the editing, it appears out of nowhere. also as a next-door Midwesterner i totally agree with the tornado siren part. we don't get them as often, but with how often we in Indiana test our sirens, you would think we are in Tornado Alley.
As someone who lives in Indiana, sometimes I here the tornado siren and I’m just like, damn just another day in the neighborhood
Argentinian translate: "National Emergency, this is not a drill". I live in argentina and have never heard that in my entire life, however if that alarm is real i would shit it all out, man thats scary
@@falloutrains2641 a
Imagine sitting in your kitchen in Egypt, hearing that, looking at your friend saying “Hold on Rachel, stuffs bouta get real.”
Also fun fact: we all know Chicago’s broken siren… has been perfect for a certain living two headed siren creepy pasta that my 3 year old brother loves to talk about all the dang time.
Annihilate your brother
Its actually just a thunderbolts hi-low mode just search up its sirens hi-low version and you get your answer
it’s also perfect for making me almost cry out of startledness 🤠
1:40 JEEZ CALM DOWN MAN-
I've been told that the Chicago siren was meant to sound eerie because it's harder to sleep through? As for police sirens and such, it's easier to get used to. With this siren, it's harder or something idk
Huh, I’ll have to look into that
4:54 that is not an eas alarm. Basically that sound was broadcast like a piano sound on the radio and was heard a few hours before they announced that the Germans invaded Poland. it sounds like that because of the low quality of the radio at that time.
Still very creepy and not at all reassuring.
Yeah, it’s still an emergency alert alarm, it’s just not a siren. Same way in the USA we have the one that broadcasts on radios and TVs
It sounds sad and creepy

5:16 i live in Portugal and ive heard one of those when i was visiting my grandparent's house, i was just chilling in the living room and this shit started blasting, you have no idea how scary and unsettling it is till you experience it irl
Sim, verdade..
Nunca experienciei isso mas assustei-me com o alarme
The Belgium one is gold hahaha
Lol

Honestly i think the more annoying ones would be the ones to reach someone’s attention quicker. It seems to be a more ear catching technique.
Really fascinating to hear other countries sirens
4:54 Cursed ice cream truck
Im from poland and once you hear it irl its even more terryfing
Haunted circus vibes in the chat today
the north korea one is actually their alarm clock to wake up for work
makes it even creepier imo
3:04 made me think of that "AWOOGA" face from those old cartoons lol
Fun fact: The 1939 Polish eas was not a eas, it was just a jingle played on radio to inform that Germans are in Warsaw
The bad quality is because the radios were bad at the time.
1:11 I will be real for a second, that siren is NOT broken. It is the Alternate-Wail signal. (Even if you noted that one already, I'm still noting it for people who don't know.) The earrape parts is just the microphone quality. The idea of this came from this link: czcams.com/video/nJu_pTIo6NA/video.html
The multi tone part of it isn’t, but the drop in it is. And it’s technically not broken it just died lol
@Cyborg no, siren head sounds like the siren
@Cyborg This is the original
thank you for writing this so i didnt have to
@Cyborgno siren head sounds like it
2:42 Actually, that's the High-low ambulance siren used in many European countries. So, it's not a EAS alarm.
As an Egyptian, I asked my grandpa about this he said it's not the actual one.. His one was way too loud and creepy and the sound doesn't die down. THE SOUND DOESN'T STOP.
3:50 The THX logo is also in Jak X.
Italy (2) Is actually the high water level alarm, im italian thats why i know this, and this happened once.
EAS are supposed to stand out, be loud, and be unsettling, since they let people know that something devastating is happening
That last South Africa one sounds like a messed up rave lowkey
3:10 Kuwait's alarm is actually a Federal Signal Thunderbolt. They were once very common in the US, but are slowly being phased out due to age and maintenance requirements.
3:30 What?! Lebanon's alert is a Sentry? Also semi-common in the US. This one sounds most like a 15v2t
Poland 1939 sounds like something straight out of a battington vhs tape
Ice cream truck from hell
"sounds like a tiny drone"
This dude has never heard a tiny drone before.
5:36 sounds like a sound that plays when you need to hide from a monster in a horror game
North Korea's isn't an alarm at all, it's a wake up signal for working class N. Koreans, it's a propaganda/patriotic song
Fascinating
@@Pingurocky7 It has a corresponding story as well, I don't exactly know the name of the song but it's popular enough you should find it with ease
As an Romanian person , i would say that our Alarm has changed alot but it's more terrifying than the old one..Ig
4:48 “Any and all crime, including murder, will be legal for 12 continuous hours. Police, fire, and emergency medical services will be unavailable until tomorrow morning until 7 a.m., when The Purge concludes. Blessed be our New Founding Fathers and America, a nation reborn”
“May god be with you all”

1:18 sorry to hear that bro
The transition to Argentina to Armenia is fresh
The Italy one is literally an ambulance in the distance
0:00 ayyyy thanks for doing my country first :DD
The 1939 Polish EAS sounds like something out of FNaF.

Norway: I have the scariest alarm
Chicago: SirEn HeaD TimE
Belgium’s EAS is as drunk as it’s inhabitants, sincerely, a Belgian
Is not EAS
Is of ambulance
@@robloxturc2647 they used the same sound as the ambulance, yes. But they added a weird vibrato to it.
i'm glad ours doesn't go off that often
2:21 exe robot has stop working
1:00 that is the greek alarm.... they use in ambulances. but all jokes aside this is the alarm Greece used a couple of months ago for the alarm test. now every time i hear an ambulance going by, i go outside to see if it is actually an ambulace
Edit: if i heard the egypt one, i would be dying of laughter just like now
Edit 2: the italian siren is also used by ambulances but also by police cars
Edit 69: i almost shat myself when i heard the 2nd malaysian one
Edit... Error 404: the 3rd malysian one sounds like the name i gave this edit. error 404
Edit triangle: the 4th malaysian one sounds as if the spongebob out of the water cartoon, the plankton krusty krab invasion was happening in real life
Edit potato: sounds as if robots could actually have feelings and feel pain
Edit 69420: the polish one from 1939 could actually be a hit
4:28 thats not an EAS alarm, they play that every morning to Pyongyang citizens to wake them up in the morning
1:40 I think the Egypt people witnessed A LOT trough their history and now they are so tired they feel like it was annoying them or a waste of time.
2:44, I’ve heard that soo many times on holiday trips to Italy. Their ambulance sirens are jolly annoying!
2:42 This is the sound of the italian ambulance
Ma infatti, non ha senso di esistere tra gli allarmi EAS😅
As an argentina , that one make my fight or fligh response go crazy
I could play the tones for Iceland through the local EMA radio channel and set off every tornado, nuclear, fire siren in a 20 mile radius because they're so similar to tones used for North American fire and EMS pager systems
It does sound like a US Volunteer fire pager, I got friends who are volunteer firefighters and I have been hanging with the when the pager has gone off.
All I keep in mind is that Switzerland has the best rating, fuck yeah!
anybody noticed the one from Chicago sounds like siren heads signature sound and the TV emergency alert and the phone emergency alerts for the US as well do as well
0:09 I would shit myself if I heard that in my house, not many things usually happen so
1:18 thanks for the good grade, last time it was used was in the missile attack in Zagreb, 1995
also if youre going here, dont be worried, its inactive. visit the seaside here too, its the real treasure of our land
6:13 Sounds Like A Old Police Car
1:12 some sirens like the one you said was "broken" are meant to that Hi-Lo tone that one sounds like the federal Signal Modulator of Thunderbolt and at 2:17 (Iceland's EAS) it sounds like a Pager😂, Jordans's sounds like a bunch of federal Signal Modulator on there wail tone, Kuwait's EAS is Legit a Federal Signal Thunderbolt 1,000T
Belgium sounds like my brain 24/7
Ngl the Hungary one really scared me- like it radiated " *THE SILENCE IS WHAT AWAITS WHEN THEY FEAST ON YOUR FLESH* " that kinda stuff yk?
Egypt left me and my cousin dying laughing🤣🤣🤣
The Purge-Sirene gaved me spicy Nostalgia.
(In other Words: PTSD)
for the lebanon one, ive heard this tune before.
i also live in the Midwest, and that sounds like the tornado siren
It really does.
I live in Italy and i can say that actually the Italy (2) alarm is the ambulance siren of Italy :/
also Lebanon sounds like when my mom uses this tiny blender to make powders and Panama sounds like the purge audio
they knew the thx sound is the loudest sound ever created in the universe so they used it as alarm
1:01 BRUH IDK MY COUNTRY BRUNEI HAS A SIREN 🤨 HOW COME I NEVER HEARD OF THIS BEFORE
Because is fire truck siren MARTIN HORN
The Argentina one sounds pretty lit ngl
I would definitely rate the Afghani EAS a 40/10 if I was in Afghanistan and this sounded in the middle of the night. Afghanistan is the most dangerous country as of now, so..
Ukraine has probably unfortunately taken that spot.
@@Mustang6971 Not to make you feel bad, but even though I'm not Ukrainian, I find you involving a country in chaos a bit insulting.

Poland 1939….
That sounded a bit like bonnies lullaby (forgot the actual composers name) and it’s unsettling.
These r interesting I love it
Actually Nowadays in Ontario we have the same one as the rest of Canada. In fact I only remember it sounding like that when it was first introduced to Ontario in 2015 Back when it also had that Creepy Male Voice but Now at least maybe in most places we have the Standard Canadian Siren as well as a female announcer🤔
The Chicago one is terrifying. Yess I know it is malfunctioning but still
Fun fact: Croatias EAS alarm from 1996 was later used as the music tune for the Mystery Box in COD Zombies
0:09 translation
National emergency national emergency, this is not a thrill this is not a thrill
0:08 I'm from Argentina and I was puzzled by the "NATIONAL EMERGENCY, THIS IS NOT A DRILL"
On the Cyprus one I highly agree
I live in Chicago and I have heard the siren? It doesn’t play in the suburbs though, just in the city, so perhaps that’s why you haven’t heard it? I only remember hearing it once or twice though, I don’t think it’s used very often, but it is meant to sound like that
chicago’s alarm literally almost made me cry y’all already know-
south africa sounds very similar to the tornado sirens in my town
its kinda like the sirens are going off while a bunch of chihuahuas are barking
The Japan panic terrifies me
South Africa sounds like a bunch of chihuahuas barking at the sirens.
The Egyptian one is hilarious.
2:56 lol, this plays during Corona virus or whatever, but I agree that in our country that it sounds like wolves
Kawalt thunderbolt going madness
Panama be soundin like a nukes bout to be dropped
1:12 so the most iconic siren is just a broken one
Egypt jumpscared me
Afghanistan’s is scary as hell cause, well, you already fucking know.
The Italian one you rated here is the sound the ambulances make when their sirens are on, actually
Poland(my country):IM STILL EXSISTING!?
