In this video Mark catches the biggest Octopus he's ever seen in a tide pool. I’m fact it’s a newly named species called the Star Octopus. This incredibly intelligent creature not only shows off its color changing and shapeshifting abilities but it also surprises Mark by demonstrating its strength by taking his watch right off his wrist!

GREAT WORK ON VIDEOS MATE✌️
Is that a Seiko Tuna you are wearing?
Almost sounds too good to be true.
I have a video idea
You can get bit by an infected black legged tick and see how bad Lyme disease is😊
It will be really educational to see your progress
Who else if not the brave team would do it?!
@@chillkid1465 I think that’s over the limit though.
For the 1% of people reading this I hope you have a successful life
Thanks mate
I hope you have a successful life too😊😊
when you tryna get likes😐
Oh I wont
@@richello703he didn't ask for likes😅
Mark catching animals on camera is really cool man. This channel is the best channel for me to watch when it comes to animals and wild life. Great work as always!
I appreciate that!
This is easily in my top 10 favorite youtube channels, I highly respect everyone on this channel, no clickbait, really educational, I really love it
This channel has the healthiest community! love the people here. All of us just fascinated by nature.
Oh really? Time to mess it up, then. *Says toxic thing* There we go!
@@DragonguyA bro thinks he's a hater
Mark: "Andrew, hold my beer!"
Andrew: "You don't have a beer."
Mark: "Oh, right...well, hold my GoPro!"
Most little kids love dinosaurs. I loved (and still do) octopuses. There was a book on them in my elementary school library that really illustrated how intelligent they are - there was an octopus in a research lab, whose name was Thor. Every morning, when the researchers passed his tank for the first time in the day, if they didn't greet him by saying "good morning, Thor", he'd squirt them in the back, and one day, he went missing. He was found in the library, pulling books off the shelves and leafing through them, a behavior he had clearly observed before and was mimicking. They're incredible, beautiful, brilliant, alien creatures.
1:34 him holding the octopus like a newborn baby made me laugh out loud
XD taking care of it and put it away later
Next video: I caUght A HuGe ShaRk
Next video: I caught a huge mermaid
Next video: i Caught a meglodon
He may not be in the video
Lol re
Next video: I caught a giant bloop
1:30 I don't think I've ever heard Coyote drop an expletive even through all the painful stings. But this is my first time hearing one on this channel!
This video doesn't feature Coyote, it features Mark
You love to hear it!
@@calciummother Yes, I'm aware who it is. But as I said, this is the first time I'm hearing one here, courtesy of Mark. Coyote has super special powers to not drop profanities in such situations, an incredible level of professionalism.
@@busybillyb33 I see, I misread that!
You look like haha
The first ever pickpocket Octopus ever caught on camera
1:30
MARK HOW DARE YOU WHAT HAPPENED TO THE NO SWEARING
1:30
Hearing Mark saying "HOLY S&@#" is something I've never heard before
Now we just need him to catch a colossal squid😂
"Can you believe they used to call me 'common octopus' ? " ..I mean...Look at me man !
Right?!
Now come to Washington for the Giant Pacific Octopus. You can either try to find one in the wild, or go to the Seattle Aquarium. They're even bigger than that one in the video.
Great video. I would love to see a video featuring a giant pacific octopus. You don't believe how big they are until you actually see them in person.
1:30 Octopus going nuts and crazy😂
That huge octopus took Mark's watch lol 😆
The octopus be like yo buddy you disturbed my hunt might as well give me your watch xd
That is so cool! This channel never seems to disappoint! 💪
Happy to hear that!
@@RichardHead12 He said that they CAN move on land. And then repeats it again a few minutes later.
@@megagene don't be a homo
@@megagene Also, not proper to start a sentence with "AND"
That's true 👍
I've been watching this channel lately
Next video. I caught a sea monster with my bare hands.
That thumbnail reminds me of the scene from Prometheus where the engineers gets facehugged by the giant facehugger!
You should come to the UK and look along the shores, tides and rock pools. You'll find all sorts (not liquorice, well maybe)
The theory about octopis being alien species that arrived to earth on a meteor makes so much sense. These amazing animals are so weird.
Love this theory but it’s wrong on so many levels. Only thing that has collided with earth has been meteors or objects with no atmosphere. If you stick a octopus’s in the vacuum of space the same things gonna happen to the octopus’s as any organic life. There’s no way something like a octopus’s could survive not only space. But the collision with earth then finding a place to live. There water creatures it’s hard survive a fiery explosion on earth. There living creatures that you can kill with a knife. Not really space traveling material
@@frozen9065 You are correct. I just love the theory since they're so different to almost all life on the planet.
Don't they have unique DNA unlike anything else on earth?
@@VchaosTheoryV I've heard that aswell. Haven't looked into it.
This is probably the first time we saw/heard a Brave Wilderness member swear/curse on camera,so,congrats!
?
Instantly my exact thoughts!
Don’t recall
I'm laughing the octopus wanted to know what it is 😂
Finally a big youtuber that visited Perth 😂
Oh my that thing is a monster, imagine if they were as big as sharks
Man is about to pee himself when he learns about the giant pacific octopus.
There’s already squid bigger than majority of sharks.
Octopus are my favorite! They are so amazing on so many levels. 🥰
mark was talking so fast that i had to check if the playback speed is on normal XD
haha, I was excited!
I love how you guys are here in Australia making all the EPIC AMAZING videos ❤ thanks for always making me smile

Hi! my son Vance LOVES your educational videos about the environment and he also loves the snake videos!

i am so happy for you to caught the octopus!!! (you ar one of my most fav. youtubers)🤩🤩😁😁
Mark said “holy ****”. I think I want to slap mark😂
Its cool to see you do tide pool videos again the first video I watched was about tide pools a few years ago.
Great video mark! I guess coyote is tired and sleeping and has been taking a day off.
Nice catch.
I was super surprised by this one!
Mark you really make my day with these.
That's definitely an amazing octopus, I don't think Coyote has caught one that big! You did an amazing job, I haven't seen the movie you talked about.
The tide pool episodes are my favorite.
When I was in the 3rd or 4th grade my class went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and got a behind the scenes tour, when we were near the Pacific Octopus exhibit it reached out a tentacle and put it on my arm, the guide told me that I was just hugged!
Great video as always ❤
THAT THING WAS HUGELY MONSTEROUS!!, love these videos keep up the good work you guys never fail to entertain us and educate us on animals! ~One Of Ur Biggest Fans

I love this channel so much please make more videos like this this channel was my childhood I love it so much
Hmmmmm, I always thought most octopi...um, octopuses? Anyway, that they were really big, like squid. Or is that only deep sea octopuses? Or do movies just lie a lot? (Never mind, I know the answer to the last question.) Anyway, awesome video, and nice choreography between the two sided screen. And that octopus IS pretty darn cool.
Octupi have always been an interesting creature to me, they're a totally different experience than it is meeting a natural land creature. Love the channel because you guys have taught me more than i ever knew before, thx for that and please keep up the good work
She REALLY wanted to take that watch with her 😂😂 A beautiful creature. Not gonna lie though- when I think of Aliens I imagine them to be like octopi 🐙
Octopus: “UNHAND ME!” “You semi-coherent primate!”
Raise🖐️ your hand if you love brave Wilderness video ❤️

Octopus thinking, run the jewels. I'm going to sell your watch to my dealer. Or later u see him rocking it on 1 of his appendages 😂
And so the legend of the strange man who searches for octopi to take out of the tide pool began in the octopus community.

Wow that things huge nice catch
Octopi are so cool! I wish I could touch one. The octopus was like I like you now. I don’t want to leave. Oh and your watch? It’s mine now.
