In this segment of On Location, Coyote and the crew are on the search for as many bizarre creatures as they can find in the great state of Texas!
Texas has wide range of habitats including deserts, plains and forests but on this night the Brave Wilderness team will set off near the swamplands of Southeast Texas which is home to giant Alligators, Feral Hogs and plenty of venomous Snakes!

As someone who is from Texas and sees many of these creatures on a daily basis, it was pretty cool to see how fascinated Coyote was encountering them for the first time. I used to catch those anole lizards in my backyard when I was a kid. Lol, and yes they like to bite, same as the geckos.
I'm from Texas too, those wasps are the worst. Made me cry when I was a kid

As someone who ho lives in Texas it’s pretty cool to see some animals and fish I’ve never seen before.
When Coyote went "Snake, snake, snake!" I was like yessssss! 😍 Love seeing 🐍!
I like that he talks with the cameraman and stuff. Not very many people do that
i know it sounds cynical, but before this show, i had no hope for the future of television. This show is a masterpiece, great cast and crew, great setpeices and b-roll shots, great writing or ad-libbing, its just fun to watch.

Hey Coyote, Marc, Mario and team 😄. Just wanted to say that the Mediterranean Gecko you caught is a species that it can also be found here in Portugal my country 🇵🇹. I ve actually never seen that one on the wild before, but last year i caught and took some pictures with a common wall gecko (Tarentola mauritanica) before returning it to the nature. Here in Portugal that variety of Geckos is actually called "Osga" and is quite common speatially on the south of the country. Big fan of your work and videos btw 😁

Normally, we would catch them with a thick piece of rope with some meat attached to it on the Colorado River down here. You can make 'gar balls' out of there meat where it's exactly what it sounds like. It's balls of gar meat fried normally from what I've eaten. (normally alligator gar, called that from how it looks and its mouth)
Volatile 100 that wasn't a alligator gar its head was too narrow. it was a spotted or long nose. alligator gar has a wide head and flat snout.
