I went last year to Disney I stayed you gave a really good tour and next time I go is going to be next year I will be staying at all star movie in the preferred room
@@yasabree It was wonderful. You can't beat it for the price. No, it wasn't a preferred room, but the walk wasn't crazy. Plus we drove, so we parked right outside our room in the Mighty Ducks area and there is a pool there. We did Disney the free way. We used their transportation and the kids loved the bus. We toured some resorts and took the skyliner. Then went to Magic Kingdom and took the boat over to Fort Wilderness and did pony rides at the ranch. We ended up staying 3 nights. And went to Disney Springs one day as well. We didn't do the parks this time. Just visiting family in the area.
I have stayed at all of the value resorts and since the cost has gone up, my family and I started renting an amazing VRBO home very close by. We have our car, so it is no problem getting to the parks, plus we have a private pool and hot tub.
I went last year and I stayed at the Pop century a really good too thank you next year when I go I am staying at the All Star movie I want to try something different and I think I'll really like it there
Great vlog Demi! Thank you for the tour. This was one of the Resorts I was looking to stay at next time I visit. Are all the rooms non co-joined rooms?
Great video! Staying here in 24 days! Got a kick out of the pool depth part of the video lol 5ft equals approximately 1.5 meters just FYI not trying to be a know it all
This is an amazing video! I'm so glad I found this video 😍 We're planning on arriving on Christmas day this year and I was tossing up between All-Star Movies and All-Star Music but this video has decided it for me lol I want to come to this one! haha Did you get to choose which section you stayed in? Or did you find out once you arrived? We're a family of 4 with our boys being 12 and 8 when we go on this holiday so I think they'll love this resort too!
I found out once I arrived. You can try to call your resort and request a section but nothing is guaranteed. And thank you so much, I hope you guys have a wonderful time!
This and my All Star Music Resort Tour are all updated. They were filmed within the last couple of months. All Star Sports reopens March 30th! All Star Music Tour - czcams.com/video/gPSANmf2XfY/video.html
Loved it!!! May I ask a question? You showed no microwave in the rooms but did show one in the cafe area. Any chance you can tell us if that area is always open to the public or not? I couldn't quite tell if it was in the actual cafe area or more of a separate coffee bar area.
That is inside the quick service area. I am not sure if you have 24/7 access to the microwave. My guess is that they shut down that area at a certain point, but I would call and ask!
Wanted to inform you that, 5’ is the same as 1.5 meters. The pool is not 5’ 1.5 meters. To be more technical. 1.5 meters is just under 5’ by the length of your finger. Military taught me this. And yes we stayed at the same resort the first week of October 2022.
Thank you for the video very helpful. Just a question can the hotel pick you up and take you to the airport? I didn’t hear you mention that in the video. Thank you!
Unfortunately Disney no longer offers free transportation to the airport. Sunshine Flyers is a great and fun option and they’re the cheapest option right now! If you book, let them know I referred you - sunshineflyer.com/
Ok just let u know it's no longer a cheap resort I have staying there since they opened and I started paying 75.00 a night But sadly for this Christmas I got price out But I still loved my second home
Only if you select preferred room then you know you’ll be in the preferred section. If there is a spot for any type of request when you are booking you can put what section you would like and if they can accommodate you they will try. Or you can try to call them and request a section and if they have the accommodations they will try. But nothing is guaranteed.
This is what I found online, but maybe reach out to the hotel for confirmation if anything has changed since Covid. Bus transportation to ESPN Wide World of Sports is available from Disney’s All-Star Resorts, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney’s Pop Century Resort on a limited schedule: Thursday - Monday 5 - 11 p.m. These buses will also run when events are taking place at the Sports Complex one hour prior to Sports Complex opening until 11 p.m. or Sports Complex close, whichever is later. During the scheduled operating hours, buses from Disney’s All-Star Resorts, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney’s Pop Century Resort to ESPN Wide World of Sports will arrive at the Sports Complex on the hour and half-hour.
Which Port Orleans? It really depends on your budget and what you want from your resort. This is a value while the Port Orleans Resorts are Moderate resorts so they cost more. I love this resort for the cuteness, size and price, but I also love French Quarter for the theming/decor, the size, the beignets, and nightlife. Riverside is beautiful, has great amenities, but personally it was not for me due to the size of the resort and some rooms like the one I had, don’t have elevators. Also note that all 3 hotels only use bus service to get to the parks, however the Port Orleans Resorts do have boat transportation to Disney Springs. Here a tour of both Port Orleans. I hope this helps! French Quarter - czcams.com/video/5uTxXxqUqxA/video.html Riverside - czcams.com/video/g6JvrGP9cdw/video.html
@@MagicalHijinx I originally booked a standard room at the port Orleans on riverside but I am second guessing on changing it to the all star movie preferred room. Both resorts rooms look like the exact same size so it’s a $700 difference obviously the preferred room @ all star movie is cheaper. Plus I have 2 kids I really don’t want to walk long distance to get to my room, pool etc especially after a long day @ the parks!!!
If you don’t want to do a lot of walking to the room, then Port Orleans Riverside is not for you. If you saw my video, I wasn’t even that far from the lobby and it was a 5 min walk to my building. And then 1 min and 90 sec walk to the room from there and if you’re in Alligator Bayou and floor 2, there’s no elevator. The All Star room is smaller, but the upgrade is super nice and very similar to Port Orleans, and if you’re not spending that much time in the room, it may be fine for you. You can also check out Port Orleans French Quarter. Same size room as Riverside but the property is much smaller!
Now that Magical Express is discontinued, Mears Connect is the paid service. Check out their rates, but I would also think about just using Uber or Lyft like I do. Once you get to Disney, their transportation is free. www.mearstransportation.com/

It’s super fun!
Great tour! The Muppets need to be brighter. That is a crime! We do Pop Century more than All Stars, we like that better.

If you were getting a good discount to change from Pop Century to here (savings of 433.00) would you change?
Can you do an updated tour on the reopened all star sports resorts

The microwave is only open when the eating area is open so like 7am to 11pm or whenever it closes. I stayed at pop century and it was the same thing.

Is there a bar at the pool area?

do we have to pay for the food there and if so how would it work
Yes. This isn’t an all inclusive resort. You pay for food with credit, cash, or Magic band
whats usb charge station?
