Pete, I knew you were a man of taste...but you totally sold me when you played the Destroyer.!! Mine is a 1975. They Rock. You Rock!.. and the pedal sounds amazing!

Awesome! I'm really digging the song, IMO, the most interestingly adventurous song you've shared with us thus far, in regards to your original music. I love the dissonance at times, it's almost somewhat Zappa-esuqe at certain moments. Maybe even something that could've fit well on Vai's Flexable. In other words, great fucking song dude, more of THIS please!

I don't like chorus very often, but this one sounds great! I like that you can push it into some delay effects being that is what these pedals are at their heart... bucket brigades.

Whenever I'm in doubt about which gain pedals to use I always default to my Caroline Wave Cannon Mk.1 & Olympia Fuzz.
    They do make outstanding pedals.
Great stuff, Pete. I'm stealing a few of those chords/licks.

I've concluded that the riff in this video that you first hear it @ 0:11 ...Although in a different key-

Such great harmony guitar orchestration, man.
And cool use of drums, excellent and inspiring as always.
You make it look and sound easy, but it's hard work, talent and experience.
The end sounds like the "Karma Police" ending, I guess that's what Ed O'Brien was doing with his delay pedal.
(That tree wood Ibanez Destroyer sounds nice also, sorry about that bad joke, but it's a true regular quote, from @NeoGeoFanatic about guitars ;) ).

Nice pedal. I noticed your "Guitars etc" shirt. "Guitars etc." was the name of the music store here in Seattle during the 70's and 80's. It's where I bought my 70's Fender Champ.

They do make great gear but I don't like the off kilter mind warping effects Guess I'm an old school guy as far as that goes or just set as a traditional delay.. can't go wrong there Good stuff 👍 if your like me definitely check out their other pedals Top shelf for real

3:55 ok, so everything is analog except... the wet signal. That's quite generous calling it "half analog / half digital really." Weird flex on their part to talk up all the analog part, when the actual effect is digital, and just things like levels and mixing are analog. Not that it matters -- it sounds good. Even so-called "analog" BBD delays are technically essentially digital in the sense that the signal is sampled by a clock.
Also, I wouldn't call the square wave mode "radical." It's very traditional... That's the sound of the famous Roland Juno Chorus. Square wave, dark, zero delay time, low rate, 50-50 mix.

The problem with Pete’s channel is he gets paid to review these things, never give them a bad review, and makes every pedal sounds great. I can’t actually tell if it’s a good pedal or not

    • @wakjob961
