I don't really understand why RED is not very famous although they have so many awesome and addictive songs. They deserve to be known better.
It's because they're Christian and did not sell their souls for fame. Ask Beyoncé about the demon called Sasha Fierce that takes her over before she gets on stage.

Ya know, I’ve heard this song MANY times but it only just occurred to me that this song is from Gods point of view to us. “You can leave, I’ll still be here when you see; you’re not alone.” Our father is a patient gentleman, and he will wait for us no matter what happens.

Showing us a message at the intro it mentioned something about the darkness of this world spiritual entities, the path that comes to truth and Michael barness in the grey color symbolizes the voice of sin and how humanity is living and how we barely read the word of God the empty pages of the word of God kept in our hearts if only you could find the strength to kill the memories of the past and the obstacles of life and sin. Will your hope die alone will you feed on your own that means feed your spirit with something on your own. I just want to thank everyone who has responded to my post or some of the responses. It is through people supporting artists/fans that music like this grows in popularity and quality which allows more people to enjoy it and ultimately experience Jesus through it, which is (in my eyes) the point of a Christian sub-genre of any type. I didn't expect this many replies and it only goes to show that bands like Red and others are doing God's work on earth reaching (or even engaging) people for Him. Keep up the conversion people (both here and everywhere else) and God bless you all wherever you call home.

I've listened to all of red songs a million times but I can faithfully say out of all of them this is my favourite followed by pieces and then darkest part. as an overall band there in my top three along with breaking Benjamin and three days grace

I'm not Christian anymore, but I will say, this song holds a special place in my heart as one of my all-time favorite songs. When this album released, it was one of the most stressful, yet happy times of my life. During the downs, I would go for a walk and listen to this song a lot, and bump it heavy during the good times. Christian artists are extremely under rated in the secular community, and they really shouldn't be. These guys could easily keep up with bands like Korn, Breaking Ben, etc.

I'm Christian and RED is a Christian rock band yes, but even if I wasn't Christian, then I could still listen to their music for days. Their songs are absolutely amazing. I'm just happy that I found RED years ago, and that they're still going strong :)

Found them in last.fm when I was 17 being an atheist. Im 25 now and my bf's family is Christian. Last night we were hanging out with my brother in law and started talking about how much I love RED and he went to his room and gave me the 2nd and 3rd album. He thought I started listening to them since I met my bf but nope. So he said "I can recognize a real fan so this albums are yours". Best gift ever

First band that started me on my metal journey :'). 7 years later I return to this song and the memories it brings back is overwhelming, I discovered this band before I went on vacation to various countries and cruises so all these songs by Red bring back vacation memories and it's honestly a beautiful yet sad feeling. I wish I could relive those moments :') I'm gonna post this comment on all the Red songs I remember listening to simply because I feel the need to 'vent' out this overwhelming feeling I get when listening to this. None of my actual friends would care to listen xD

I have loved this "awakening, uplifting, understands how I feel" band for so long. I watch the videos of the band, but I got hit with the lead singer wow when I just watched the intro. The attitude and the looks coming out and singing Great Band.
Nicely said Bayvon, I think whats important to mention is that this country was founded on christian beliefs and we have been given the freedom to live how we see fit. So if you we have to adjust to non believers it should be the same for those who don't believe in what we believe and adjust to us as well.
